I’ve heard that we can’t even access black armoury stuff properly until we reach high light as the Forges are really hard or something. Is this true? Is it actually bad like is the DLC bad? Can someone feel me in

Mixed is being way to generous to one side of the debate.

It's not bad, and yes, you cannot do the new end game content until you're high enough to do new end game content.

2 RepliesBasically the new dlc dropped but is unplayable for a few weeks. I’m the meantime players must do the same exact activities they were doing in forsaken to level up at a snails pace. No one knows if the content is legitimately good or not because no one can really play it. Honestly if you are on the fence with this one wait as you can’t access anything till you are 605-615ish light which you will get to at the same pace with base forsaken. I’m guessing in two weeks or so we will have a much better idea of what we got but this light gate is annoying to pretty much everyone

Don’t get robbed! This game sucks!
-
Its bad, not worth your money, just do your milestones and level up since thats all you can really do in this dlc.
-
Its not worth the money, its trash, I'm about to see if I can get a refund

1 ReplyIt just feels like a free event with a raid.

I got all the machine gun stuff done, went to the forge, got through round one which is 610, round 2 at 625 i just proceeded to play sad trombone. Let the dailies and weeklies begin.

It looks like it’ll be a fun DLC, but there isn’t enough day 1 content. There’s literally nothing to do in the DLC until you’re 615-620 light

16 RepliesHave to admit I logged off, after trying it out for about an hour. Like "normal" DLC, where there is a story and a quest chain, The Black Forges are the only actual thing we can do. Until you have completed a Forge Ignition, you cant even complete said quest. So no one knows what comes after it, unless you have seen the YT videos, where it would seem we travel around, exploring and stuff, but thats apparantly after we complete a Forge Ignition, which is all 3 lvls (I dont know if it is, since we didnt even get past the first) and then there is perhaps something "new" to do...

There is a disconnect between what Bungie delivered and what players perceive as dlc. It’s just an end game content that adds no additional ways to level up beyond the same progression tasks that we’ve had since Forsaken’s launch. It’s a dlc that is released but functionally unplayable for a few weeks depending on your luck with milestone drops. As players we have become accustomed to a gradual difficulty increase within the context of the dlc; Black Armory has no Black Armory related progression in and of itself just the Forsaken progression. A good example, though maybe flawed, would be The Warmind being released with only Escalation Protocol as the only activity but no other Warmind activities to advance your character to play it.

6 RepliesEdited by Cry2God4Revenge: 12/4/2018 8:19:35 PMPeople are still surprised the mini DLCs are shit? They always get 5/10, starting with The Dark Below But TDB had strikes and no timegated content, plus more exotics and a SANDBOX UPDATE
And an actual story
The raid will be good, unless its bugged like Crota's End Mini DLCs should be free. Spam Eververse all you want for revenue
