Any suggestions to beating the precision kills in crucible for Cayde's Will?
Really stuck on it. Played a bunch of games and so far only got 9 kills. I'm using Better Devils atm but please suggest any other guns I could use or any tips I could use... thanks.

Trust! As long as it doesn’t have explosive payload it’s super easy to get precision kills, oh yeah and aim high!

I used a bow and a 180 handcannon. Get a quick headshot with the bow then finish with a quick handcannon headshot.

2 RepliesIf you are having trouble with headshots from single shot weaponry, try pulse weapons. Crimson or Bygones. Also, be sure you are not using anything with Explosive Payload. It's a wonderful perk buy if a person dies to the explosive damage portion of the shot, even if it's a headshot, it won't count as a headshot kill.

Look for precision frame handcannons. The osiris forge one and ep hand cannon are good examples, it's a lot easier to land headshots with them. If you have crimson, it helps a ton.

Roam with anither person or 2 on your team And cherry pick kills with a 110 hand cannon lol sturm is actually a really great option especially if you have the masterworked version, its range is disgusting and it feels like it just sticks to people. Also dont look at your progress you will just get razzed if you do, so just play until you notice the quest update. Good luck man 🙂

no turning back or subtle calamity with a high impact hand cannon with quick draw (thin line, home for the lost) or if your on hunter any high impact with lucky pants. land a bow shot immediately swap to hand cannon for the clean up. easy two tap

Crimson. Smashed it in hardly any games at all, easy mode. Explosive rounds will make it a lot harder for you because often head shots won't register, it'll be the explosive, non precision damage that got the kill even though you hit a head shot.

I started with the better devils but things weren't going to well. Then I got a trust and knocked it out pretty quick. I'm not all that great or anything and only averaged 5-7 precision kills per game. But the trust got me there. The one I used has almost the same range as the not forgotten, so it really helped.

I used the trust and I think I got it in five or six games, the key is to learn how to use that gun and then stick with it no matter what. Don't switch to a shotgun if someone is rushing you, just keep shooting them in the face. Also, smoke on a nightstalker, or disorienting blow on the arcstrider can prime easy headshots for you.

Try using a 180 hand cannon. The Better Devils is a good weapon, but the Service Revolver that Zavala was selling at the beginning of Destiny 2 is better for what you're doing. The Crimson might help you. Or the Trust. A good roll on the Duke MK44. Look for a helmet that has enhance hand cannon targeting. Use the perks that are available to help. But a higher rate of fire certainly will. Something over 150.

Energy hand cannon as well. Just in case you have to reload with crimson, while they are left one shot. Don’t forget to aim at the head with this one. Finally, start every engagement with a throwing knife/grenade/smoke etc. this starts the fight off in your favor... keeps you calm and lands you those crispy Precision head shot kills!

1 ReplyDuke 44 . The hard hitting requires you to land less shots in total which may help you. Mine with opening shot and rangefinder was amazing for this and for Luna’s howl quests

Definitely rumble. Your kills can't get stolen. I tried crimson, couldn't get comfortable with it... Switched to trust. Did way better. Make sure you don't have explosive rounds on or you'll lose kills to the explosive damage and they won't count as crits. I'm pretty lame with pvp and got it done fairly quickly. At least 2 per match. Hit like 5 on one good match

I used Trust and i got it in about 13 games. And i am terrible at pvp.
