Remove quitter penalties since you can't seem to resolve your server errors in competitive matchmaking

The title says it all. I keep losing streaks because your coding needs work. I get punished because your system is unstable. Seem fair?

No penalties is a terrible idea. Imagine of any other game had no penalties? - If there are no penalties then quitting means nothing. If quitting means nothing, then playing the game means nothing. - If you want competitive to mean something, you need penalties for dropping matches. Just because someone doesn't want to lose they don't get to escape penalty free. That's the whole point of competition. - The status of Bungie's code is irrelevant. It's on them to fix the code and make it work. It's on you as to whether or not you want to play the game.

Disagree. As someone who is giving up on competitive because of quitters, I'd say Bungie needs to filter out bad connections. I'm tired of having ppl quit on my team. I can't even get a god damn streak for weeks since I've gotten near fabled because of this. There might be connection problems yes, but there's no way the number of quitters due to network problems is larger than the rage quitters. I'm sorry you're having connection problems, but do you think it's fair to punish the majority of ppl, those who have to deal with quitters, just because some have connection problems? EDIT: Just adding that games like Overwatch ban you for the whole season if you keep quitting. If you look at their forums when ppl cry they were banned due to connection problems, you'll see ppl saying "fix your connection" and *not* "remove quitter penalties".

        • Network issues shouldn't cost Glory points, either.

            • This goes for Gambit as well. Last night we saw teammates booted from multiple games with Baboon and other network related issues. Each time they had the quitter warning screen pop up. We were not the only ones with disappearing teammates. Several times we also saw that our opponents had players disappearing as well, leading to multiple 4v3 rounds. This really needs to be fixed.
