Gambit this weekend is impossible.
Seriously, it's [i]insufferable. [/i]
4-man premades [i]everywhere[/i] and people constantly bailing on the team when they realize they realize the sh1tshow they're in is [b]NOT[/b] fun.
Extra infamy? More like extra headache with a healthy serving of salt and hopefully a stroke.
And no, "GIT SUM FRENDS 2 PLAY" is [b]not[/b] a fix for crappy matchmaking.

Edited by STARWoLF00: 11/8/2018 4:33:50 AMPrimeval mechanics to to be changed from simply do x amount of damage. Bosses are being melted as soon as 6 seconds, especially when facing a full fireteam. If you try to melt the primeval as soon as he drops he should enrage and take less damage, similar to how the Servitor in that public event does. In order to stop enragement you should have to complete some task and maybe another thing to ensure he doesn’t enrage again.

4 RepliesI did the Malfeasance quest. It took me 7 games to do the collect-motes step. It took me 30 games to win 10 games. Solo. This is broken shit.

I feel you. I have actually been having fun with it, but only with a full team. Solo, it's effing brutal.

Tip, go to lfg and say 600 light must have malfeasance. 4 man malfesance on the boss = instakill = profit

Got the Gambit Sparrow from the meatball. Finished my Malfeasance quest. I've faced a full stack of 4 here and there and sometimes my team of randoms would beat them.

2 RepliesHonestly I don't get mad at 4 stacks or sleeper or worm. I get more frustrated with players who really don't get Gambit. Stupid teammates is way worse than a stacked team in my humble opinion.

In some cases 4 made can be beaten, but if they are somewhat coordinated they will gain the motes and melt the boss while invading in a short amount of time. And im not even talking about having tether, down for adds, warlock with the new solar super, i mean once you have a well coordinates team gambit gets easier, but harder and frustrating for the solo teams. I honestly feel like players have been complaining about this issue since D1, and yet nothing changes. I think gambit should have an option to go solo or go with a team meaning if you select solo you get matched with solo players. Bungie could have had Solo Gambit and Team Gambit. Each with their own weapons, armor and rewards.

1 ReplyI played on a 4 stack this past weekend because people were looking to rank up, like me since I'm grinding for the Dredgen seal. We annihilated everyone. 5-6 wins in a row, all of which where the other team never once summoned a primeval and I didn't feel an ounce of accomplishment. It's like challenging a newborn baby to a foot race. Once my team slowly logged off, and I was playing solo, the wins halted immediately. Maybe Bungie could create a new mode, like comp PvP where all the 4 stacks go. They won't be allowed in the general queue, that way you only have to deal with dimwitted teammates who think that you only win by stacking 15 motes....

I did fine climbing two tanks mostly solo, you get basically a regular win’s worth of points for a defeat as well

I'll say. If I get killed by a queenbreaker 1 more damn time. Welp Bungo, ya nerfed Sleeper and gave every other Linear fusion more aim assist... Why in the hell would you give queenbreaker even more aim assist?? Thing is already the easiest sniper in the game to use and it shoots faster than any other Linear fusion. Gwah Sidenote, got killed by 1k voices too. So how does that thing work? You just hold down the trigger and swipe your scope across the screen and everything in that line dies? lol wut?

Try going for invader super kills no one uses there supers when they invade why would you when Sleeper, tracking rockets, fusion rifles and snipers do a much better job.

Seriously need clan mates. My clan got our Malfeasance quest today. I’m not going through that, though. Anyway, until matchmaking is corrected, you need your clan.

3 RepliesThe issue is 100% Bungies fault. Their matchmaking is appalling. Teams of 4 solo players being matched against a fireteam of 4 should be very rare. The fact that this happens so often clearly displays that the are many teams of 4 looking to play so why aren't they matched together? They do not show the players you're matching against until you fly down so you can't back out if you don't want to go up against a stacked team with 3 other solo players. Then they have the gall to punish [i]you[/i] for backing out. Honestly it's very little wonder why people are washing their hands with this game. They have so much potential but always find a way to screw things up. Will they address this? Of course not. Their heads are either buried so far in the sand they don't want to know or buried so far up streamers read ends they think everything is fine.

yepp after playing almost a full day solo, I got my friend and 2 randos off LFG and had so much more success, got 2 resets done in 2 days for my final reset, just need the ship now for the Dredgen title and ill never have to touch this god awful game mode again. I just love that whenever I play solo im almost always against a 4 stack, moment I make a 4 stack at least 80% of the games I played were against a 3-4 stack, instead of 4 blueberries; because -blam!- consistency.

I reset once today and im about 3,000 points in for the next. All solo q... relax... even lost a match where the opposing team anhilated us and took down only the [b][i][u]second[/u][/i][/b] meatball Ive seen. And Im not bitching like you are. Chill bruh.

3 RepliesMy only gripe is needing to WIN a game to gain points during Legend. I shouldn't feel like I wasted my time after 15 minutes or more in Gambit. That alone makes me hate this f**king mode. I can't reset infamy if I don't get any points after a game. It's not competitive so stop treating it like it is.

My record is pretty good and I’m a solo player. Hard to say what your issue is, teammates play a large roll. I would say try to be proactive, be smart with your invasions, when you get invaded drop what your doing and hunt the guy down before he wipes half your team. Invade when primes are up. Save all your heavy and super for prime weak faze. Idk, good luck.
