Am I trash because I use Telesto in PvP?
I get a lot of hate mail for it. To the mad kids who send it I say, please, keep it coming, it's hilarious.

Telesto won't be a problem to certain group of shotgunners. I'm talking about chaperone users who can aim. They will put you down from far away before you can even charge your telesto. With a Luna camping with roadborn active? Might as swell stay on the other side of the map.

1 ReplyI tried using Telesto. I was a bumbling idiot trying to use the gun. So i started using Chaperone. Thats honestly the closest fun ive had compared to using my normal sniper in a long time. I feel like people cant bag on you for doing well with a Chaperone bc you need to be precise with it. Chaperone is life.

Use whatever, don't apologize. That's what I tell my Clanmates. Some have the idea that a win is worth more if they use a Sniperrifle, even if they are bad snipers. If you want to win, use whatever is necessary. My opinion on Telesto? It's so broken. It's worth than a Shotgun, because of the Range it covers and still gets kills. If a Shotgunner is close I will see him on my radar and can act accordingly. A Telesto user might even be out of HC Range. Use it if you want to, but don't get too used to it. The Telesto nerf is coming.

Yes, you’re skill-less if you use it. But the same can be said for a lot of guns in this game, in fact all guns perhaps. Don’t feel bad about it. Keep killing em.

No, use what you got. That's why most people use Shotguns. You have a Telesto. I see nothing wrong.

I guess the real question is why run from showing the PvP community that you have skill, by using some weapons that take skill? I got a lot of respect for the sniper kills, I’ve seen a few snipers in this game, snipe me , close range while they were jumping midair during our dogfight. It is pretty wild! 😂 It’s easy to frustrate your opponents with bitch tactics, but when you dazzle with skill . . . You leave them speechless. Sorry to see that there is it much of the in Destiny PvP.

Haha I want to be nice and say no but when there’s just a spam of telesto shots being fired and I’m dying in ridiculous range... then I’m a little irritated. I agree with most comments here. It’s a crutch but it’s a weapon that’s available so... I just personally believe it should be a heavy slotted weapon because it can one shot kill from a good distance.

It's a crutch. I'll have a grudge against you for using it. BUT its a gun in the game. There should be no reason why you can't or shouldn't use it

I was doing good once, then I got killed by a telesto. I just laughed and remembered, telesto is the besto. So no you are not trash.
