I’m leaving OffTopic...
...for good.
The reason, you may ask?
Well, the reason is because I feel left out. The only people who can bring up rational arguments and don’t speak emotionally/speak without making a joke are kellygreen2, Cell-3, and some others that I cannot remember at this moment. I don’t feel I belong here. I have tried telling you guys how I feel or what I like to do but you either shut me down and ignore me, or make fun of me for who I am. OffTopic is corrupt and broken and is just like a high school, you break people down because you feel small. I will be answering questions until Sunday. On Monday, I will be gone. Unless somebody changes my mind. Thank you for listening, and I wish OffTopic a good future.

28 RepliesOk, I am going to be brutally honest with you here, do not get upset, because it is not meant to upset you. You can't come in to Offtopic and expect to fit in immediately. You also can't be thin skinned, nor have half as much drama surrounding you as you have had. It took me a solid year of getting insulted, talked down to, ignored, laughed at, and having my few posts ignored before I started to make a few friends and get noticed. Yet you are in the newest incarnation of Offtopic that is a hell of a lot friendlier. So yeah, you can be melodramatic and quit, you can take a break and come back refreshed or you can suck it up and keep going. Offtopic is never going to be what you want it to be, you just have to be what it lets you be.

Taking Offtopic seriously was your first problem. Your other problems come from the emotional baggage that you bring. Drop the baggage and lighten up and then you'll begin to see how this place is full of great humorous people. Of course there are trolls here, it is an internet forum after all, but don't focus on them. Instead mingle with the friendlies and don't make any expectations.

Some of kelly's responses to political stuff are coming from a place of emotion especially if it involves ethnicity. Cell has gotten admittedly triggered by me on two separate occasions from something I said that he thought applied to him because he was being presumptuous... Odd, this place seems more accepting than ever, and this is coming from the guy who is posting if (Name here) was an SCP. Still, if you don't wanna be here it's your choice and it's all good.
