People are always going to say "X game will kill Y game." So far, the only online shooter I can think of to kill another online shooter was Overwatch. It killed both Battleborn and Lawbreakers. Most of the other games are killed by their developers. (Star Wars Battlefront II, for example)

I think it would be pretty ignorant to think that if Division 2 launches as good as Division 1 ended that lots of people won’t switch. With that being said, Division 2 doesn’t launch until March 2019 and I would say that Destiny is already dying 5 months before it launches.
