It has begun... raid elitism
Almost all of the LFG posts I see are 590+ 10 completions emblem required. Will check tracker.
Man get outta here with that bullshit. I've been helping underleveled and underprepared people through the raids since VOG days. The acidity and elitism bothers me to no end. Learn to play the game and stop asking to be carried through the raid.

I waited till i was 585 to start, i remember playing VoG underleveled and it was fun...but i dont have the time to put hours in for the raid. I got in a group of all 590 and i enjoyed the raid and we really didnt struggle till riven. Had 3 times were we almost killed it but fell short on damage. I commend any group that goes in under leveled and that take in noobs that want to actually learn the raid.

16 RepliesI have yet to complete ANY raid in D2 yet. Currently around 570 power - I would love to run even the first raid now and get some raid gear finally. I know the old raids can be speed run pretty quick now but if I mention anywhere that I have no raid experience then I usually get kicked. I think I will eventually get round to learning the mechanics of the raids but my only issue is time. I don't get much play time each week due to other commitments and usually just spend the week completing weekly and daily milestones. By the time reset comes around I am just getting round to completing the last couple of milestones. I'm going to try and get a raid complete by the end of the year hopefully, when I've got some time off around xmas and new year and don't have to worry about completing the encounters quickly.

@MARLO321 Man I agree with you 100%!! I wont even consider a group that has those demands. 90% of the time is some dumb@ss that either doesn't know what they are doing, wants a carry, overreacts to the difficulty of the raid, or some dude that just whines all the way through complaining "I just wanna get this done [sigh]." With this new raid, if you have been through it all 3 times, you're golden.

Honestly, once you read the raid on paper a few times, its actually one of the easiest raids in existence, the puzzle of finding it out was the hard part. i was getting 40 minute completions by my third time attempting the raid, the only reason i was ever unable to move forward was light level. hit 550 and make a fireteam saying 550+ Kwtd and if you are 550+ go find out wtf to do simple shit, just band together, quit being shy and hiding in a corner

Dont worry.. can tell you that half of those elitist teams, still fail for exactly that... they feel entitled and that can do everything, and only end screwing up or pissing the ppl they recruit... One team for example that I got, was full of asswises that wanted to boss around and say how to do stuff... ridiculous cause they alrdy asked for ppl that completed the raid more than 5 times, and still try to teach you lmao. You can guess what happened, everybody will try to do everything and abandon what they were supposed to do, and one screw up, and ppl aborted, terrible. But also you have the other side, I've joined nice ppl that ask those crazy requirements, just cause they dont have time and wanna rush through it, being nice pays off, cause although requirements are up there, they are friendly and end finish it quickly with a positive attitude. My suggestion?, dont be afraid make a group yourself, teach ppl how to do it or not doesnt matter, just be nice cause using an lfg should be enough for you to know that anything can happen, and at least you will know, you werent the typical asshole of lfg.

My experience is that most ppl having this requirements are kids or immature adults which are underleveled and give up after two wipes or middle of the encounter because their parents tells them to stop playing or get off the game and have lunch, dinner, homework, etc.

3 RepliesPeople are morons and they suck. As long as you're the same level as the final boss you will do full damage the whole raid. I'm getting close to 540 now and I know its gonna be a pain in the ass trying to get people willing to play for my first run maybe next week. I wanted to go in blind but if I tell people that it will make it even worse lol.

Humanity has all types...sadly, the most common type is competitive people who want to believe they are better than others...oh well, it is what it is but at least there are SOME people who enjoy helping others experience the excitement of completing a raid

Had a guy flip out last night because we didn't have our plate numbers straight on Shiro chi and failed on the first run...I was like dude chill, we had our numbers mixed up, it took all of 5.minutes to get it done on the second run lol...some people are unbelieveable
