Special ammo weapons never should have left the heavy slot. Pathetic that Bungie would allow this many one-shot methods into Crucible. Eliminates the need to develop any skill.
Unless it's by The Light, nobody deserves to get one-shot in thr Crucible. This isn't Call of Duty, and some of us actually like to perfrct the art of scoring a kill rather than simply picking up a shotgun and announcing themselves a living legend. Bungie made a huge mistake in the Crucible by allowing shotguns to be used non-stop. They've destroyed the appeal of skill and intellect to create a game of crutch-abusing shotgun meatheads. There are so many better ways to improve Crucible without having to allow such a pathetic weapon-type to taint the Crucible that was once lengthy, yes, but also artful.

Don’t act like there was any skill involved in year 1 of this game either. Just glue yourself to your teammates and run around the map teamshotting. Did you think that was fun? The current weapon system is how destiny always was and shouldn’t have been changed in the first place. If you can’t hang then that’s on you.

No it isn't Call of Duty. But then it isn't Halo either. And what is pathetic is watching you try to front off the fact that you can't adapt to shotguns being present as if its some "principled argument" for a more "skillful" game. 5 RepliesWant to know something crazy? Every shotgun in the game is available to you Adapt and use them. I refused to use them at first. But it saves your life so often either deal with it or don’t play. Don’t come on here crying because you suck special weapons in the heavy slot was a terrible idea, hence why it was changed

1 ReplyIf you want the team shot 4 v 4 PvP then go play Halo. Seriously scrub, what separated Destiny from other titles is exactly what you’re crying about. When D2 became that boring PVP the game lost its niche. The space magic, the 1hk, the ability to wipe a whole team! That’s what we want from the PVP in this game. Sorry for calling you a scrub.

Obviously your a skilled PvP player. But screw skill. If Bungie gonna throw me in PvP to get PvE content then Ill take whatever I can get. Its my game. I bought and paid for it. If you cant kill me with my measly shotgun and .04 kill ratio then get over it. What makes you think you dont deserve to get one shotted in Crucible? You some sort of special? Consider the shotgun for people with no skill, dont use it as your a very skilled pvper and live with it. Or use one and one shot back and quit bitchin. You know how many times the casuals get slammed on here for cryin about this or that. Cmooooooonnnnnn Sev. Kill many and Die often!
