Give all of the old armor random perks!
Title...
I never understood why we can't have a LARGE selection of armor to use, why do you have to limit the amount by not adjusting the previous armor to roll with perks? Stop ruining the games full potential just for money ffs!

I would like to see us be able to have the same perk system with the old stuff as we have now with the new stuff. Armor and weapons. Why not? We should be able to reroll and mod out our equipment the way we want.

Can't agree more. Forsaken sometimes feel like 2 steps forward, 1 step back. We got a ton of content to play, and the expansion has really been great, but for obvious reasons, 3d artist and other asset genius don't come with unlimited time on their end, and even though they did a great job with the new set, there are still plenty of great armor set that were made redundant, which is a bit of a shame. To a few exception, you can still get a lot of Y1 sets (planet vendors, Escalation protocol, Leviathan raid) so I really wouldn't see the harm in giving them random perks. We got the collection, but in itself the collection serves very little purpose for anything but emblem, shaders and exotics if what you extract from it is de facto redundant. I entertain the idea however that it will come in one of those "free" updates announced down the line. We'll see

No thanks. Considering the fact you can't re-aquire randomized gear. I get why they don't allow us to reaquire random gear, it's because they don't want people to just keep re-rolling till they hit god tier...But then they could easily balance that by increasing the cost every single time in one day for reaquiring random gear..Similar to how it is when you purchase Masterwork Cores from Spider. But, yeah. I prefer to be able to get gear back that I've dismantled, over getting a couple of crappy perks.

I watched leaks video, where dataminers have found new vendors for old weapons (Omolon, Hakke etc) Maybe same happend with old armor? I hope so.

I am just annoyed that for Titans most everything in Y2 is mobile armor. Kinda sucks that Scatterhorn or the Iron Banner armor are your only choices for heavy. I really liked the EP armor from Year 1, but the new perks in Y2 make anything year 1 undesirable.

2 RepliesIdk, I like the way it is right now because it makes me use different things and different loadouts, but yeah maybe if they randomized the old armor so it’s still useful you can kind of show off how long you have been playing the game but I haven’t had any problems with the armor now
