Hardcore player quitting because of power level capping

I joined destiny 4 months before taken king came out. The community demanded a certain light level or if you owned a galahorn. I got lucky with the galahorn so teams accepted me. Taken king and + I was able to grind and become a raid leader. Destiny 2 came out and everyone left. Forsaken is the new taken king but as much as I grind I cannot level up. 3 or 4 weeks in with all 3 characters the max power lvl I have reached is 535. This light lvl is not recommended for the raid or nightfall. I am sorry but I need sleep. So I have to quit because I will keep trying to level when there is no more leveling for the week.

  • Truthfully you’re doing something very very wrong. I have 1 character and I’m 599 light and still have the chance to hit 600 this week. Honestly what have you been doing every week? Have you been doing Petra? Tier 4 blind well? Nightfall with score? Early raid encounters? Did you do the beginning of shattered throne?
