I joined destiny 4 months before taken king came out. The community demanded a certain light level or if you owned a galahorn. I got lucky with the galahorn so teams accepted me. Taken king and + I was able to grind and become a raid leader. Destiny 2 came out and everyone left. Forsaken is the new taken king but as much as I grind I cannot level up. 3 or 4 weeks in with all 3 characters the max power lvl I have reached is 535. This light lvl is not recommended for the raid or nightfall. I am sorry but I need sleep. So I have to quit because I will keep trying to level when there is no more leveling for the week.

Truthfully you’re doing something very very wrong. I have 1 character and I’m 599 light and still have the chance to hit 600 this week. Honestly what have you been doing every week? Have you been doing Petra? Tier 4 blind well? Nightfall with score? Early raid encounters? Did you do the beginning of shattered throne?

Grinding all three characters for 3-4 weeks? How many hours a day? Because I've only really touched one and my main is a titan at 578 so either you aren't playing as much as you say or you are doing something wrong

7 RepliesEdited by Manslave2Eris: 10/7/2018 2:53:14 AM1035h 31m That is... One thousand thirty five hours and thirty one minutes. According to wastedondestiny that is how many hours you have played D2. I have 100 hours less on this account and my LOWEST character is my Titan that maxes out at 533. That is two points lower than your HIGHEST level. The only reason he is THAT low is because I haven't even bothered getting him into Dreaming City yet. My other two max at 561 and 565 only because I'm not very efficient and leave quite a bit of the weekly stuff out. I would rather enjoy the specific activities I do than try to push myself up to max. In other words... I'm not even really trying and my max is 30 points above yours. DON'T blame Bungie for your inability to maximize your time and play efficiently if your goal is to gain Power levels. That's a you problem, not a Bungie problem. If it were one or two points you were having an issue with gaining, sure, I could understand getting hung up a little because of the way the Powerful Gear drops work... But you can't lay being that low of a Power level on Bungie. That's simply a result of inefficiency.

1 ReplyI'm currently at 531 on my Warlock amd 506 on my hunter. The LL grind is real but I'm honestly okay with it, because everytime I log in even just for a few hours a week max, I feel like there's always new stuff to do/grind for. I like it honestly. But I totally get how you feel and I hope you'll find a better game for you :)

2 RepliesPeople are already 600. This is a you problem.
-
How is that even possible? I think your idea of "Hardcore" is flawed... You must play like 1 hour a day.
-
1 ReplyThen you been doing so much wrong lol. I haven’t played much for all 5 weeks and I’m a 541, and that’s neglecting Petra’s bounties for 2 weeks and not doing a lot of the powerful gear stuff
-
LOL....are you kidding me.....I'm at best a casual player and I've got one character at 548 and another at 535 and I don't even do all the weekly stuff because like you say it just takes more time then I care to put into a video game but...WOW....There's no way you're a Hardcore player

You are a high enough level to solo the night fall with a couple positive modifiers. Just because something is higher than what you are doesn't mean you can't do it. The only activity you can't do is the raid, dungeon, and heroic blind well, maybe the tier 3 as well don't remember what level you need to be to damage it. Don't limit what activities you are doing because of your level, unless they actually say immune when you shoot them you can complete it.

2 RepliesI'm really surprised you are only 535. I mean just doing all activities, not including raid should have you around 30 to 50 levels higher than that unless all your drops are edge transits. I'm not even close to 600, but will be pushing to 570 soon on my titan. 564 on my warlock and 560 on my hunter. I haven't raided or done shattered throne. Also had a bad week of nothing but weapon drops. You can't be doing everything available. All dreaming city stuff, heroic blind well, spiders major bounty, flashpoint, nightfall, the gambit power bounty, clan engrams and clan xp. Then fill in with heroic stories, strikes and crucible stuff. I found that doing the high end activities first has more benefit, at least for me. Hoping to be able to try a raid soon.

Good nobody wants complainers like you to stay

Edited by stalker514: 10/5/2018 5:26:13 AMI didn’t do anything for the dreaming city for about 2 weeks, didn’t do strike powerful gear for 2 weeks, the heroic story mission for 2 weeks, haven’t done nightfall yet, or do any of spiders powerful gear bounty at all. I got my warlock to pl 550, hunter to pl 547, and titan to pl 533. Haven’t unlocked dreaming city on titan yet either. All I can say is you have really bad RNG.
