I want it but just bought dragon quest xi and downloading Forza horizon 4 soon, so it'll have to wait. Still never really played origins, but from what I did play I loved the RPG aspect of it. This game looks awesome as well.

1 ReplyI really don't enjoy the new direction they took in terms of story. And for a series where the story was the largest draw for me, I just can't be excited for it. Couldn't even bring myself to finish Origins.
-
I will get it after I finish Origins
-
I've been playing it for a few hours now and I'm enjoying it a lot. The first thing I noticed was how good the movement feels in comparison to Origins. It feels a lot more fluid/smooth and a lot less clunky/stiff. I honestly had no intention of getting Odyssey because by the time I was finished with Origins and all of the DLC I was pretty burnt out by it, however I'm really looking forward to diving deeper into it now.

8 RepliesNot at all, i stopped being hyped for upcoming AC games after unity, and black flag was the last great AC for me

6 RepliesPlayed it last night and got up to rank 5. This one is really a full blown rpg, it wants to be The Witcher 3 so bad. The world is stunningly massive.

7 RepliesNo hidden blade.. why? WHYYYYY? Such a dumb choice. Slightly disrespectful honestly. If we had them in the game where the assassins were initially formed (Origins), how do we not have them in the following game?

2 RepliesEdited by Uncanny_Vale: 10/2/2018 12:39:56 AMI’ve finally come to the conclusion that I’m never going to like an Assassins Creed game. They always look good. But I’ve played four of them now and got nowhere near finishing any of them. They are fun for a while but I get about halfway and just get bored and never go back. I’m not sure what it is - they get too repetitive maybe? Also the worlds always look great but there never seems to be enough of a reason to explore them. It feels like a slog just going from point A to B doing the same things after a while.

Love the game

And let’s look at the review... https://m.ign.com/articles/2018/10/01/assassins-creed-odyssey-review
-
yep I’m getting it Friday but idk what character to play as
-
Yup. I know a lot of people don’t like the open world, non-ezio, game. Everyone is on ezio’s weewee. Anyways, open world multi quest beautiful landscapes loot stats skill level. The run on sentence is all my favorite things about origins/odyssey

1 ReplyWhat happened to Ubisoft taking their time with AC games from now on?
-
Thanks for your report. We are aware and are investigating this issue.
-
Idk man... It looks cool but they aren't even making AC games anymore. They should just retire the name at this point and just fully move into the open world style games.
-
I wish I could care.
-
3 RepliesI wish I was. Assassin’s Creed was one of my favorite franchises, it’s a shame they’re just generic open world RPGs, now. : /

Preordered the Gold edition and I am extremely hyped
-
I preordered it, but I’m not hyped per se. As with every AC game I will love some things and dislike other things.

Edited by Rin: 10/1/2018 12:28:21 PMThough it runs on the same engine as Origins, I'm still looking forward to buying and streaming it. Big fan of AC even though a few titles didn't really catch my attention. But with the season pass, I can play ac 3 remastered
-
Not really, last couple of Assassin's Creed games i haven't been hyped until I started playing the last ones, but i've always enjoyed them and pre-ordered. (Pre-ordered Odyssey Gold edition last night from the ubisoft store after getting the 20% discount code) The last one I was properly hyped for was Syndicate after I managed to go to a preview event in London (and discovered a bug in their demo build)

Always

I might buy this one actually.

Edited by epicperon: 9/30/2018 8:47:11 PMEh. It’s not smash or kingdom hearts. It’s also not on switch. So no
