How are people getting exotics
Not complaining just was wondering how people have getting any exotics and would appreciate any help

1 ReplyI received two Trinity Ghouls within 24 hours. The first one came from a prime engram, the second came from Banshee after turning in weapon parts.

I've gotten Cerberus+1 and the void trace rifle and I guarantee play less than most people. It's all luck.

Various places. Challenge rewards, Gambit (blockers, mainly), Crucible, Lost Sector bosses. I even got two just from turning in old tokens at planet vendors. The drop rates are lower than before but they can drop pretty much anywhere.

I got geo mag boots and black talon from pvp. That’s the only new shit I got.

I got the Gwisin Vest from losing an Iron Banner match. And then my dad’s over here with the Lord of Wolves [i]and[/i] The Queenbreaker, aka my two most wanted Exotics >:(

I got the new exotic sword Saturday from completing a daily Petra bounty. I think it all boils down to luck.

Exotic engrams can basically drop from anything now. It just has a super low chance of happening. Lord of Wolves is an exception. You can get that one from turning in Wanted bounties from Spider.

The same old bs with exotic quest there’s always some ridiculous crucible part to get it I HATE crucible I should not have to play crucible to get an exotic I would rather do ten strikes than 1 crucible match

1 ReplyI've gotten 2 from leveling up in crucible/gambit, one from turning in materials to Banshee (couldn't believe it), one from Spider's weekly bounty, and one from a strike (a sparrow I already owned). I think I got 2 more but I don't remember where they came from.

Just been doing missions, killing challenging enemies, playing gambit etc. All with a Fireteam Medallion active. Gotten 7 non quest exotics since 2.0.

Killed a vandal during a public event and it dropped. Seems like they come from anywhere there’s a lot drop possibility.

I opened gunsmith packages. It was just the Queensbreaker, but at least it wasn’t another Colony 🎉

I got Black Talon yesterday from the weekly gambit bounty. They are completely random, a dreg can drop one.
