I’m serious. I haven’t enjoyed this game this much since D1. Infusing is a pain in the ass, but I have to say I love the return of the grind. I’ve played everyday and have no exotic drops, but when that one does drop I’m either gonna lose my shit in a good way or punch everything in the world if it’s a dupe.

Edited by $hirtless Captain Kirk: 9/23/2018 3:21:52 AMThe pve is much better than D2 base. The PvP is much worse. I won't be playing that ape bs anymore.

old armor got useless. no old armor with new perks. not being able to role armor main perks. not being able to change elemts on weapons. strikes are so easy i can complete them with a spoon. STILL no stunt sparrows and horns. blind well "matchmaking"... yeah sounds super fun lmao
-
Still a snore fest compared to D1
-
It was on the upswing since Warmind, Whisper was a good push, and Forsaken was the last step.
-
2 RepliesI couldn't disagree more... the fun has been sucked from it...

Maybe I’ll jump back in D2 after a few sandbox tweeks and things to make infusing faster 👍

Gotta agree. I mean, Destiny has always been the king of wasted potential, and there are lots of areas that need improvement, but I really have been enjoying forsaken. Love the story, atmosphere, quests, gear, design, you name it. Great job, overall. Would love to see something done about the CBMM and SBMM in pvp of course. Don’t really care for being nudged into pvp so much, either, but it probably wouldn’t be quite as bad if it played well or didn’t affect stats at least. The grind for masterwork cores feels a bit much too. Seems like I never have any for upgrades, which means gear hardly ever matches and is never optimal. Still wish they’d do something with our ships - would be really cool to hang out in them, maybe pick up bounties or do LFG searches for different activities from our ship. Some sort of clan emblem or tabard type thing would be pretty sweet. But yeah, always neat things they could do, but pretty happy with forsaken.

6 RepliesI wish more bounties etc gave non-powerful legendaries to help with the rolls ... Also, hopefully they bring back more year 1 guns with rolls to fill the lack of variety. But Forsaken is in the "Very Good" range , 7/10

I love the grind. So many parts of the game are challenging now and it feels good! Ascendant challenges are rewarding and not simple at first (this weeks challenge was a pain, until I figured it out, now it’s not bad at all). I hope the challenges keep getting dialed up and the new mysteries/quests keep coming for a long time!

1 ReplyYou're going to be doing a lot of punching dude. D2 is the best it has been so far. But think of it like this, D1 was your right arm. You lose your right arm so now you have a stump. D2 vanilla was that stump. Forsaken is a new top of the range prosthetic arm. It's better than the stump but it'll never be as good as your actual arm ;)
-
Yeah buddy! I am loving the grind. For the first time, in a LONG time, I am not able to finish all of my weekly activities for all 3 characters in one night (not including the raid).
-
3 RepliesWell it's not like the bar was that high though.
-
1 ReplyI have to agree. We’re in a good place then bungie buckles to the pansies on the ace quest. I hope this isn’t a sign of the future ....
-
sure but after how much one has to pay? Just to go back to Destiny 1 reboot. Bungie is still being rewarded for every screw up they did and people paying them for fixing the game.
-
Wait until after the season pass it's about to get super good.
-
Content wise? Maybe(early Taken King). But econony and some key loot areas? No.
-
I’ve had two exotics drop....... Crimson and Aeon swift, which I have both of😑😑😑😑😑
-
I’m so glad you are enjoying the game!
-
Yeah seriously. Maybe make infusion a little less expensive (down to 15-20 planetary mats, no masterwork cores) and increase chances of getting a new exotic from exotic engrams and then it’s perfect pretty much. I’ve been having an absolute BLAST playing it the past few weeks.
-
For me being a guy who loves lore and exploring, this is the best Destiny has been. Dreadnaught didn’t satisfy my exploring itch as much as the dreaming city has
-
Couldn't agree more!
-
I think this is the best Destiny has ever been as a series, D1 or D2.
-
You're not wrong. This expansion is awesome. Every rose has it's thorn though. Remove MW Cores from infusion, and I think it's pretty much perfect. We'll still have a modest grind with the increased shard/glimmer and planetary mats needed. Infusion doesn't need to be as expensive as it is now. We have plenty else to grind for. Fine with the exotic drop rate.
