So we killed the Primeval, he dropped a prime engram, the screen shows the your team won banner with the blurry background, I see a prime engram on the floor few feet from me, very obvious. I go to the postmaster and nothing, not even a legendary (in case ur thinking I might be mistaken) but it was definitely a prime one with the particles and all since the blurry background effects/motion still runs at this screen
