STOP ASKING TO NERF GUNS
Please guardians stop asking for weapons to be nerfed! Have u tried deflecting w new supers or using something to counter with? Bungie keeps nerfing everything thats good, already nerfed the sleeper i rlly hope they dont nerf it anymore, already nerfed whisper sigh* and its starting to look the same for ace! Please dont allow this to continue. Eyes up guardian....

1 ReplyThe only gun that needs something done about it is sleeper. It’s way too good in gambit and there’s no other option if you want to win. I’d like if they just easily locked the gun out of loadouts when you queue for gambit and it forces you to pick another heavy weapon

9 RepliesAll I'm going to say is this, people who just ask for buff are equally -blam!- as those who only ask for nerfs. Any good multiplayer game requires balance and balance is achieved through both buffs and nerfs.

2 RepliesSleeper was buffed to increase reserves and mag size, and whisper wasn’t affected by the box breathing nerf, since it’s perk was changed to a new perk called Whispered Breathing. As far as I can tell, neither of these guns have been nerfed since their introduction in D2.

1 ReplyIf people keep whining we will just go back to the vanilla D2 meta. Everything watered down and unpowerful. I even enjoyed pvp in vanilla D2 but this is way more fun. Is it balanced? No, but balance is what made alot of people quit this game in the first place. Everything gets neutered and is no longer fun.

All nerfing does is increase TTK's, which goes against Bungie's shorter TTK design for this season. So nope, ain't happening unless mad sploits are involved.

Nerf till pvp becomes unplayable and not a soul even hovers their cursor over pvp activities. Then when that happens they’ll finally remove pvp from the game entirely. 1 ReplySleeper is still good if not better then it was before the change, and Wisper was way to powerful and just became what Touch of Malice was to Kings Fall but for EVERY PVE ACTIVITY. The "nerfs" were justified

Lets not forget what nerfs do. They just make something else the OP choice shotgun->fusion->Snipe-r>Shtgun->Fusion->ect. forever to infinity. nothing is perfectly balanced and some guns will always hold an advantage in their niche, nerfing it out of that niche will only let something fill that niche.

i want a NERF (never EVER reduced firepower) gun. something that acts normally when your playing content at your level, but becomes more and more outrageously OP when much lower level. so when in tangled shore its just another decent autorifle exotic for example - but when you go to trostland with the same power level, it adds all sorts of perks like exploding multielement tracking particles like graviton lance, and also a solar fireball like polaris lance. or it chain lightnings to nearby enemies, and produces a disco ball above the battlefield and some cheesy music.

Have fun playing gambit when all that's left are full party sweaties running that loadout 24/7. You only make the game worse when you refuse to implement balance. The population in the playlist will dry up because who wants to deal with imbalanced weapons repeatedly. A game with hundreds of weapons yet idiots think there should only be a select handful being used won't make the game stale. Why would I chase loot if the only weapons that matter are a select few. Bungie might as well make loadouts since people refuse to embrace variety. You can only get that by weapons being balanced and worth using, instead of one ruling over the others.
