1.) Super hit registration is very spotty
— Frequently, attacks will not register any damage to guardians in PvP
2.) Attack’s take 2-3 hits to kill guardians
— sometimes fast attacks only cause 1/3 or 1/2 damage at random.
3.) Super energy runs out way too fast
— most other supers will last a fair amount of time and should be on par with Arcstrider super.
4.) Very slow super movement
— movement is too slow to chase enemies unless you’re constantly fast attacking. (Primary issue is the inefficient ability to close the gap in PvP)
5.) crouching and making a precision kill to proc it’s neutral perk is not viable at all
**** let me add that this is specific to PvP; it just doesn’t really flow well with the class. I’m not sure what a fix would be but it only seems to promote passive play until you get that kill.
The super is very cool but starts to lack its effectiveness while in super for various reasons stated, but also the synergy of its neutral perk in PvP seemingly lacks in its current state.

13 RepliesSo basically you're saying: 1: You recklessly button spam. 2: When spamming melee doesn't work you decide to spam the button more. 3: You still have yet to realize that spamming the button is why you run out of energy. (Probably because you're so used to the very strong yet unbalanced arc-strider with infinite bullet dodge that you spend more time chasing targets than just getting two or three efficient kills with spectral blades.) 4: Bungie has given ALL MELEE SUPERS maximum sprint speed. 5: If you think crouching isn't viable, then you either have horrid aim, don't know the first thing about positioning, don't use the Stompees, or all of the above. My advice to you, try pacing yourself. This isn't blade dance, it's not arc strider. It is going to reward efficiency and precision. Hoping you are going to activate it halfway across the map from your target isn't going to have ANY payout. Use it when they are around the corner, rely on your vertically and timing your strikes mid-air to cover ground. Your melee is literally a tractor cannon debuff that lasts 6 seconds for ANY damage when Flawless Execution is active. You have the ability to "wombo combo" like in D1. You could simply run grenade cooldown mods/perks with Graviton Forfeit and have abilities rather consistently. And the most important thing is PRECISION PRECISION PRECISION. Pair jade rabbit or a handcannon with an SMG you enjoy. Activate flawless execution and then make your plays with the SMG, use the combo of your smoke and your grenade to get your second or third kill when stuck reloading, rely on your shadestep to dis/re-engage when it favors you. The subclass just came out, there's no shame in not understanding it right away, but calling for a buff when it hasn't been even a week? It's sounds less about the class and more that you're bitter it isn't as easy as you hoped.
