Not counting year 1 exotics I’ve got no exotics drops either.

Edited by U12070628: 9/8/2018 8:15:59 PMThe difference is, the exotics In D1 were powerful and desirable.
-
I'm lvl 497 and I'm rocking all blues and loving it lol
-
2 RepliesIve had 7 drop since forsaken launch so its just luck i guess. 2 forsaken ones. Chest armour and gauntlets for my titan
-
I got 2 so far. 1 drop & 1 Xur. Who cares. Forsaken is great and I am taking it slow. Purples are mighty strong as it is!
-
That’s what I’m saying. Haven’t seen an exotic since the expansion dropped. I love the grind, and it makes it feel much more exotic and worth it when you finally get ahold of a piece.
-
I got my first forsaken exotic yesterday I was opening chest on Nessus and then one of them told me to go to the gunsmith and he gave me caydes gun awesome
-
1 ReplyAre there still exotic drops? I havent seen one yet.
-
2 RepliesI never really seen a change in the drop rate from D1 to D2 in the first place so I can't really say if it has been tweaked with Forsaken. On a GREAT week I 2 exotics a week, (most of the time its 0 or 1) its always been that way for me.
-
Been playing non stop since launch; all modes, and only seen one new exotic in the wild which was that new rocket launcher that fires twin rockets
-
No kidding shit is rough lol.
-
I've got two exotics in an hour, both I had already. One from Ikora, worldline zero with 508 light, which was ok, I can fuse some heavy weapon with it. The second one I've got from completing a regular strike, it was a level 28 saint-14 helmet, with a 377 light, which was strange. I'm missing only 2 exotics from y1 and with new Xur system it looks like I will never obtain them. 🤔
-
I haven't got forsaken yet, but in D2 I have about 40 hours played and have 24 exotics. It had to change, it probably equated to 2 exotics per session, and imo, they were too easy to come by.

10 RepliesEdited by omegacon4: 9/8/2018 5:31:39 PMCongrats. It's what you and the idiot streamers (who should get real jobs) wanted.
-
1 ReplyI have only had exotic sparrows and catalysts drop for me
-
4 RepliesYeah, it's trash again.
-
6 RepliesCertainly seems that way, haven't seen one drop and all three toons are at 50 and 500+, so it's leading me to believe that Nightfalls and Raids are the exotic drop areas. Milestones used to, but I have done a lot of them and nothing.
-
I've gotten 3 Hard light from PE Lord of wolves from ikora Mm standasides from 500 strike chest
-
3 RepliesNow I get what some ppl are saying the lower drop rate was good when you had insanely good exotics such as Gally and hawk moon. But let’s be honest most of destiny 2’s exotics are terrible easily beaten by most legendaries. I don’t even use any exotics be it weapons or armour as it simply isn’t worth it.
-
That’s great, they should be exotics worthy of using, makes it more rewarding when you get them
-
The new exotics better be amazing. I don’t mind the rarity if they are worthwhile.. I’ve done two chars to 50 through the entire story doing 40-50 public events and countless bounties. I’ve yet to get one. Or even see someone else get one. I think that’s a little ridiculous considering even if you get one you likely only have a 10-15% chance at getting a forsaken one over a Y1 one in addition to how rare they are.
-
2 RepliesI haven’t got an exotic at all yet
-
I honestly thought they didn’t drop anymore once Forsaken went live. I haven’t received any. Good to know they do but lame I haven’t seen any. While there are some good things with this DLC there are those classic Bungie decisions that keep me confused.
-
Exotic? What is this? Never had one of these before. How does one acquire such a thing?
-
I like the lower drop rate. Gives us stuff to chase for more than a month
-
2 RepliesI thinks it’s a bit premature to start celebrating. My experience with Bungie and the Destiny franchise has talk me that Bungie are a company of ‘extremes’, with them, it’s either all or nothing. My big fear is that they’ve gone from being too generous to too stingy, and I don’t think either option is right.
