Step 1 & 2 are very self-explanatory and super simple to complete, just complete the campaign and get started!
Step 3: Invasion Kills
-This one is worded strangely. It appears to mean getting kills with Hand Cannons while invading the enemy team, however the kills will ONLY count if you're killing an invader to your side.
Tips:
-Bring Sturm/Drang, there's no light advantage and killing the PvE enemies with Drang will grant Sturm the overcharge rounds which you can then use to quickly 2-3 tap the enemy invaders.
-If you're having problems finding invaders, equip the brand new tree from the Nightstalker subclass.(Make sure you have at least three of the four perks) If you're not a Hunter, buddy up with someone who is. Why? The new Nightstalker tree grants you wallhacks when you're invisible. This makes it super easy to spot the enemy invaders.
Step 4: Crucible Precision Kills
-I've tried, and it doesn't work in Private Matches unsurprisingly. Your best bet is to enter Quickplay or Rumble and work off of that. This WILL take at least 3-4 matches to complete based on your efficiency and accuracy.
Tips:
-Don't use any other Hand Cannon other than Crimson. It's 3-burst allows for you to have a better shot at nailing precision kills, and it's an overall really strong weapon for PvP.
-If you're a hunter, you could even dual wield Hand Cannons and use Lucky Pants to essentially never have to reload.
Step 5: The Caches
-This is going to be a QUICK rundown of the locations. There's nothing else to this step. Note: You'll have an indicator in the bottom left hand corner that says "Cayde's Stash Nearby" when you're close to it.
Io: This one is found in Terrabase Charon, more specifically down in The Wraith Mines. It's in the main room, but you'll need to move around into other rooms to get up to the same elevation to get it. You'll have to do a little jumping to get it.
Nessus: This one is found in the Sunken Cavern past the floating rocks in the room with the statues, it's found hidden around the walls of the room. Easy access is by taking the cave route with the teleporter in it from Exodus Black on the western side of the area. Ignore the teleporter and just traverse through the cave normally and you'll reach it quickly.
Tangled Shore: This one is found in Jetsam of Saturn. Around the southern side near the smaller destroyed Tombship there will be a pathway that eventually leads into a cave. There are a LOT of Hive enemies down here, but once you reach the end(If I recall correctly, it's either the end room or the room before) there will be some destroyed Walkers in this area and the cache is found on the left side of the room!
EDZ: Enter through Firebase Hades and get to the area where you spawn for The Arms Dealer strike, continue through like you normally would in this strike and when you get to the area where you'd dunk the solar charge, instead of moving forward go to your immediate right. You'll eventually stumble upon a dark and open room. The cache will be inside there.
I hope this helps everyone out, and if I missed anything or messed something up, let me know and I'll try to help out a little more!

3 Replies1 match and I can only pull off 1 precision kill WITH crimson...sigh...screw you Bungie! I tried and I see I can’t do it. Gambit was ass but doable, strikes was a breeze, crucible!? GOOD PHUCKING LUCK!!! At this point, it’s full of sweaty tryhards and I didn’t just get rekt...I was killed like I never even existed. I’m still keeping the quest as a reminder not only will I never get the gun but I suck major ass! Sarcastic thanks Bungo!

1 ReplyIf you cant be a king with the hand cannon then maybe you dont deserve to handle Caydes gun... just sayin

I've been playing (just today for about 5 hours) PVP and I fully admit I am TERIBLE at PVP, but in 5 hours I have only gotten 6 Crucible Precision Kills. And yes I am useing Crimson and Truth. I'm holding my super and doing what I can to get the drop on people but when I get 6 to 9 head shots and then they just turn and BOOM shotgun, or one burst me with a pulse weapon. I find myself wanting to shove my controler down the throght of the person that came up with this Quest step. You would think that Bungie would want people to not abandon this Because this is a Major wrapup to the story of the most beloved Charctor in the game. I find it almost insulting to think that somone like Cade-6 would want us to go through this much frustration to repair his gun when in D1 the Quest steps to get The Ace of Spades were: Step 1: Gather Weapon Data Task: Get Weapon kills with a Primary or Special Telemetry consumable active.(based on which weapon is needed for kills) Quote: "City records indicate that, before you, the last time Banshee-44 designed a custom weapon was for a Warlock named Gallida Tuyet." —Ghost Objective: Obtain 100 Data Gathered. Rewards: Gunsmith, Experience Tips: If you have a Class Armor that increases EXP earned for that weapon type, it counts as a telemetry. Step 2: Talk to Banshee-44 Task: Speak to Gunsmith Banshee-44 in the Tower. Quote: "So, if you're interested, Gallida Tuyet…as in Fireteam Tuyet. All six members were lost on Venus years ago." —Ghost Objective: Go to The Last City, Earth. Rewards: Gunsmith, Experience Tips: ??? Step 3: Salvage Custom Parts Task: Dismantle Rare or Legendary Weapons to salvage the parts Banshee-44 needs. Quote: "Gallida Tuyet was a leading weapons scholar. She and her Fireteam were researching Vex weaponry." —Ghost Objective: Obtain 10 Parts Salvaged. Rewards: Weapon Upgrade, Gunsmith, Experience Tips: Rare with no EXP gives 1, Rare with full EXP gives 2. Legendary give 5 to 8 Step 4: Talk to Banshee-44 Task: Speak to Gunsmith Banshee-44 in the Tower. Quote: "All the scouts ever found of Fireteam Tuyet were some dead Ghosts, a pile of inscrutable Vex tech, and plans for what City Warlocks turned into the Pocket Infinity. Oh, and Banshee's custom-designed Sidearm, broken in half. Just in case you were interested." —Ghost Objective: Go to The Last City, Earth. Rewards: Weapon Upgrade, Gunsmith, Experience

Being a guardian who is terrible at PC crucible I have to say the steps sound like a lot of work but in essence once I actually tried to get the gun I got it within 24 hours. Obviously the nice thing Bungo changed was the invader kills so that step was simplified but regarding the 25 precision kills, I did around 6 games in Iron Banana dual wielding a Ten Paces with Rampage, Triple Tap and Trust with abysmal perks, I ended up using Trust because of how accurate and fast it is, I hardly ever popped my super and I always kept one eye on the radar playing on the defensive. On console in D1 I was pretty good at crucible not Pro but deffo above average, in D2 on PC playing with mouse and keyboard yes is cool and accurate but theres too many sweaty try hards out there so unlike console its hard to relax anD im rubbish at it Proof I own the gun: https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/447807349898346496/493600376906448916/assss.png?width=864&height=486 So just hang in there fellow Guardians, dont give up or carry on complaining, you too will own a piece of legend it just takes time and patience

33 RepliesEdited by StoicBehavioR: 9/5/2018 2:44:55 PMBungie: We're listening to the feedback of the community. Community: Stop locking exotic quest behind PvP.. They are really listening...
-
6 RepliesGetting 5 invasion kills is the hardest thing to do, considering the Invaders can see you, but you can't see them, and they have an overshield. I love forsaken, but this is a really dumb requirement for a story exotic.
-
1 ReplyI just finished the 5 invader kills and what really helped me was using hunter tether. 3 of the 5 kills I tethered him.
-
1 ReplyEdited by Cendai: 9/9/2018 6:15:54 PM25 precision kills in crucible, I guess I won't be getting this weapon i would take 200 precision hits to 25 precision kills.

3 RepliesReally? Players already moaning about the quest steps 🙄. The gambit kills are a little tricky but can be done it just takes time I’m no great pvp god but got it done tonight in about 6 games. As for the rest it’s pretty easy, I haven’t completed it yet but it’s not hard at all. Some players just don’t want to work for rewards. The quest is simple.
-
2 RepliesYou hear invader inbound! no matter how hard you try with a hand cannon. You Die! those morons come with Super or with a Whisper. its impossible to kill them with a hand cannon. No more gambit! no Ace of Spades :(
-
2 RepliesToo bad gambit is a shit show. Everyone and their mom running around with sleeper. Nobody invades without heavy, and by the time you see them, you're dead. Bungie really knows how to -blam!- up exotic quests.
-
20 RepliesBungie lies about listening. Requiring pvp to get any item is just dumb.
-
9 RepliesHere’s a tip. The Dev shouldn’t showcase a weapon in PVE content then have the player play PVP to acquire said weapon. Stupid decision to have Gambit invader kills as part of the quest. We want players to play the objective and then put this in there. Guess what, they’re not playing the objective they’re focussed on killing the invader. Kinda defeats the purpose for playing Gambit now doesn’t it?
-
7 RepliesHonestly, this quest is making me hate Gambit. I cannot get an invader kill to save my life; either I can't find the invader, someone else kills them, or they super and kill me. The fact that you get in real indication where he is is just.... frustrating. After 20 matches, still not one hand cannon kill, mainly because when I actually do find them, the stupid -blam!-ing overshield lets them outgun me. At this rate, Gambit is just going to be another mode I avoid, like competitive.
-
6 Repliesso does anyone remember the OG D1 Thorn bounty aces of spade ain't got nothing on that..
-
22 RepliesWhat are you talking about? All you have to is get Hand Cannon kills with Primary Telemetry and dismantle rare or legendary Hand Cannons. What's all this complicated nonsense? I wonder how many people won't get the joke...
-
Thank-you for posting this. I read it before getting AoS and got it partly due to your sharing the info. Bump!
-
Every time I two tap an invader, one of my scumbag teammates comes out of nowhere with the whisper of the worm. I’m not a big fan of gambit to begin with, so idek if I’ll attempt to get the ace of spades.
-
5 RepliesDo golden gun kills count for this? Because if they do...
-
4 RepliesBest way to get this guaranteed, get 8 friends and form 2 fire teams and enter gambit at the same time and if you dont make it in together exit out and reload in again together. When you finally all get together, designate 1 person to each team to get the 5 kills, then go to the next, should be able to get it in one match, especially if you keep slowing down the primeval boss health.
-
9 RepliesEven using these tips it still promotes terrible team playing. I am screwing over and being screwed over by my team every step. I am spending my time holding on to my tether to hope it helps me kill invader. I am also forced to use 2 hand cannons so I can be sure to get the kills. That really weakens my damage options in PVE part. I spend my time waiting for invasion, not helping on primevils. Plus. they almost always come in with supers ready. You gave me an ornamentation for the weapon and blocked it behind PVP ability. Not only that you set me against fire teams and clans. You set up in PVE that we would get the Ace. You showed it constantly in cut scenes in PVE. I have spent hours in Gambit, I am not even getting gear hire than 500. This feels like punishment for not being good at PVP. Don't promote a prize in PVE if you it requires you to be excellent at PVP. Stop making pre-prder and bonus items for your special editions locked behind a skill based wall. Why not make the skins skill based and the weapon you teased through the entire campaign something I get for finishing the campaign? Don't get me wrong. I like Gambit, I want to like it at least but forcing me to play it like this... I doubt I would want to again. I know you want to promote your new mode but let it speak for itself. You are kind of turning off players forcing them to play like this. I will eventually push through, I am stubborn but I feel you could have made this quest more interesting with PVE hand cannon kills or precision kills, hidden caches, or adventure. Really missed with this one.

1 ReplyI have easier method! Step 1. Take out your credit card Step 2. Have someone else do it! Step 3. Have ace of spades within 3 hours!
Kappa
2 RepliesThis post is just ripped straight from reddit...
-
1 ReplyThe only reason I'm annoyed with this is how it was phrased. I played games of gambit and invaded a couple times and got five handcannon kills over maybe 3 to 4 invasions... but now I have to focus on getting the final blow on a single invader... it's rough
-
Thank you for this. I was stuck on the invasion kills. Once I read your post, I busted out the Sturm/Drang combo and got all 5 in a single game.
-
The Gambit info card says there IS PvP level advantage enabled. So for the purposes of this quest it matters. Good news is that Y1 weapons like Sturm can be infused to higher levels.
