Same thing that has apparently been bugging people for a year now.
Thing is, the game has worked flawlessly for me for the couple of months that I've been playing. Only the patch yesterday broke it for me. Sometimes the game crashes while still loading. Sometimes before character selection screen. Sometimes I manage to phase onto a planet, then almost immediately (under 5 seconds) crash.

The .pkg file in question changes. I've basically tried everything bar installing windows again. Updated all drivers and windows things. Tried a recovery point. Tried deleting the faulty .pkg files and then rescanning. Tried installing on different HDDs/SSDs. Tried reinstalling from scratch several times (which is REALLY funny with the 73 GB download).
I've just spent 100 euros on this game, and the most hyped thing happens in game with the 2.0.0. Can not play it at all. Good going.

Same thing here. I can't get past loading screen. So since new patch hit live I am unable to get past loading screen. When the blue screen show up with forsaken dlc and Press "enter" to play on it another loading screen shows up but than it goes back to the blue one again. Sometimes error code chicken pops up. I tried skan/repair and reinstalling. Everything work perfect before patch went live.

I have a similar issue, my destiny loads up to the forsaken main screen, then after that the screen goes grey and all I have is the cursor in game that I can see. Then as soon as I press a button it goes to a loading screen then crashes, saying to use the scan and repair on battle.net and restart destiny 2. However I have done this multiple times and uninstalled and reinstalled the game, made sure everything on my pc was up to date, And still having the same Issue.

this needs more notice, idk who downvoted you, good info is posted here currently my gf and i are dealing with her computer to slow down and frames drop in the loading screen after the blue forsaken one. (the one with the 3 class emblems). it will freeze, she will run task manager, and the computer will just freeze up, discord still works though. she has to restart it manually. we have check for updates in device manager, looked through the event viewer for errors, we get no error codes, updated all drivers on windows 10 and geforce experience, uninstalled and reinstall, deleted local files and reinstalled again, and before all this, she was having update download issues as well. took her 10 hours to download an update.
