Stay far away from Crucible if you are a solo player.
For solo players, I would stay far away from Crucible. My efficiency has plummeted since the update as I have gone up against team after team with players who take no damage due to lag or seemingly get one tapped from a primary weapon while shoulder charging (again, due to lag).
Get as hyped as you want, but the Crucible has not been fixed.

5 RepliesI am a solo player I manage to do well even if my team don't win , you have to figure out how to counter certain weapons and sometimes manage how you use your super especially in clash because you want a super just before the match is over especially if it's a close game and I know they have the advantage with the communication but I have single handily be the reason why a team of 4-6 players loses when I play solo and get matched up against a team it makes me play harder so I can send them packing.

This is what everyone wanted and bitches at Bungie for. I knew shotguns would be a problem again. Skill based def needs to come back cause I’m tired of everyone leaving matches while i go 1v6 until other people spawn in. As soon as a team start to lose half the team leaves. I never saw that happen as bad in D1

I play solo and I’m killing it right now. This update had been lovely. I’ve gone up against squads and haven’t noticed anything different.

Loving the changes they made but it’s D1 all over again. Always thought they increased ttk to make lag less visible. Well, it’s back in full effect. This game should have had dedicated servers years ago.

idiot... it got fixed with this patch! now this game is finally no team shooting anymore (except if u face clans).

Just do better. Ive been a solo player since release, ive just had to learn how to deal with team shotting, now that i have a sniper its much easier. You have to learn how to play smart dont just complain, every game will have some lag.

It took me a while to adjust but I’m back in the swing of things doing fairly well. I do think they brought some kind of SBMM because matches are laggy compared to how crisp they were before.

5 RepliesI have to agree with this. I played last night and lag and latency issues were so bad that it felt like they didn't adjust the TTK. Not only that, matchmaking was horrible putting me with teams that were 4v6 or 3v5 and took ages to matchmake. I'm hoping it's because a lot of people didn't have a chance to download the update yet so it's matching us with a small pool of players. The people i was playing against were taking no damage and my kills or shots would register mad late . I hope it's better today.

That’s the opposite of true. I have one hand and my KD is going up thanks to ohk weapons. 2v1? No prob. I’ll fuse em. Ran out of ammo? Pull back and pulse em. Don’t like being fused? Hit em with a shotty. Don’t like either? Hang back with a low zoom snipe.

I will admit I actually had some actual fun last night. Handcannons felt really good and I was actually able to take on and win 1v2 or 1v3 especially with rampage :) But it didn't take long after before I found the cancer match, Full team of Invis shotty hunters. After which I peaced out and went to play strikes.

Wow, just no pleasing some people. With This new system you can play the D1 way or D2. Being solo has nothing to do with this, I play solo and I'm really enjoying the changes. Don't like being solo... join a clan or just inv. Some randoms who are in the same boat. All the tools are there for you to enjoy the game the way you want. If you still don't like it play another game which you enjoy more?

18 RepliesI'm a solo player. It's D1 all over again. I foresee a nerf to the special ammo economy. Snipers, shotguns, and fusions are back. I honestly don't mind, though. It's a hell of a lot better than Crimson, Graviton, and Vigilance.

Idk personally I think it's great, I was so very much over the hand holding and feeling like I needed a hand up my team mates ass to get anywhere. Now I feel powerful again even on my own.
