Stay far away from Crucible if you are a solo player.
For solo players, I would stay far away from Crucible. My efficiency has plummeted since the update as I have gone up against team after team with players who take no damage due to lag or seemingly get one tapped from a primary weapon while shoulder charging (again, due to lag).
Get as hyped as you want, but the Crucible has not been fixed.

Ehh... Just leave. The stacks are rarer (in my experience so far) and some of 'em just suck. If it's not fun? Quit! There's plenty more matches to play :D

3 Repliesall I do is solo and have about a 2.0 kda, if it drops who cares. it's not going to help you in real life so why worry about it?

Ya shouldn't get so despondent, it's early days and all the new toys are locked up till September the 4th But If you are solo player jumping into quick play you might cause some troubles for the opposing team if you pack a Telesto to counter the shotgun spam. I've even managed to suprise time team shooting 'tards in control with multikills using Telesto. Granted I haven't won..... yet but since using Telesto and combining it with a long range A.R like Orimunds anvil or Loquitor IV I've been causing all sorts of trouble for the other side. That's all you can really ask for in this weird space between season 3 and season 4

I have been solo queuing off and on a bit since 2.0.0 dropped and those were some of the best games I ever had. I can finally compete solo again!

5 RepliesThe time to kill has reduced. Hence team shot has reduced as you physically have less time and hence chance to get a random shot on someone your team mate is killing. This is why your efficiency has reduced. Nothing to do with lag, teams etc. Accept the fact.

Regular crucible is laggy, but doable, competitive is completely dead, ended up on empty teams with 2 people or just by myself and destiny thought it was fair. Loads of teams roaming around so don’t try it.

I got shat on more than a few times today but I began to feel it out and was holding my own, and eventually led my team for a couple games, win or lose (mostly losses). But regardless, it’s exponentially more fun now, than it ever has been since this game launched, without question.

Yes it has. You whiners can cry all you want. I played competitive and quick. Both where ultra fun there were games where I got wrecked but over all it better then the corner camping, Team shot group of players.

As a solo player the only time I don’t have fun is when I myself suck. I don’t care if I win or lose in quick play because you still get participation rewards. I only care when my performance takes a dive. 6 man stack.. I look forward to it. The other day, before the update I faced a 6 man stack lead by the number 1 Trials player/Sherpa... using the Grav Lance.. in quick play. Got our arses kicked but I didn’t let them have an easy day. My performance was on point with a sh*t hand cannon , a 450 rpm Omolon Pulse and sniper. This was before the 2.0 update. This new update gives every play style a fighting chance. There is a counter to everything now. Just wish trace rifles had like 60 ammo. They are not one shot weapons. It’s like a Vex Cranium in EoW. Enough for one mine and a bit is left for the next.

I disagree, get in there and find what works for you! It is much more aggressive than we are used to and if you stay still, you will need a loadout to counter the rushers.

I’m a solo player since beta. I’ve gotten the Redrix easily and I have a ton of fun playing quickplay and the new patch made it three times better. Stop exaggerating your bad experience to put negative thoughts into people’s minds.

Crucible is more of a shit show after this update. I either get put against stacked teams of godslayers and or put into an on going matches getting bent over and destroyed by God players but, get good right? Seems to be the only damn answer to anything

Funny. Ive only played 1 match, which was solo. And it ended in a mercy rule.

Bro I'm a solo player. I didn't even change my main go-to loadout of West of Sunfall, Fighting Lion and G-launcher. Literally nobody knew how to shotgun rush last night. Nobody sniped me last night. All they did was run straight at me and I gunned em down...for the most part. Nobody touched fusions, nobody touched linears. They'll learn soon, so get acclimated.
