UPDATED AND SOLVED: Solstice Greaves ( Legend in Valor ) Not Registering for Masterwork
EDIT 08/02/2018 @ 2116 EST: This now has a consistent work around for those of us that have recently attained Legend in Valor, continue playing with the armor on, until you hit 2000 Valor. After hitting 2000 Valor, play one more match, win or loss, your objective will complete. Good luck, hope it works for all of you, and yes I know, it does mean that you've got another 200 Valor to get, but hey, that's what we do this for. The grind doesn't bother me when the reward is obtained!
I just obtained Legend Rank in Valor. It was a long grind, but I can finally say I did it. I was wearing the Solstice Greaves when it happened, however it still says Achieve Legend Rank on the objective, and will not allow me to Masterwork.
I have the entire set Masterworked, except for this, and I am indeed Legend in Valor... I have tried logging off, logging back in, completing additional crucible matches, and unequipping them and reequipping them.
How do I fix this?

I've played 3 games after reaching Legend and it still will not proc. FML....

Edited by viiisceral: 8/14/2018 5:18:52 AMwanted to verify that i (hunter) reached legend and it didn’t complete the objective. got to 2000 and it didn’t complete the objective. put on full armor and played one more round and it’s now completed. and thank glados because i was about to flip some desks.

weird. I got mythic and got the objective complete. didn't even have to grind to legend

This has not worked for me. I did everything I was supposed to do and got a legendary mod to use. Not happy, going to bed.

2 RepliesMore bungie bullshit. Made legend rank and it won't register for the boots. Oh, your shitty writing means I have to play more of a bullshit pvp game mode I hate? -blam!- you, bungie. PVP is pure frustration. Give PVE players an alternate path that doesn't involve your sweaty pvp crap.

By the way, if you while being legendary play a game with every char you can unlock it for everyone

Anyone know if it works if you've already reset your valor rank before the solstice event started? I've already reset my valor rank twice and am currently at BRAVE (or something) upon receiving the resplendent armor set on my hunter. I literally do not want to play pvp anymore. Grinding for the alchemical dawn shell has been the most exhausting thing I've ever done in my entire gaming career and I dread the experience so much that I will literally quit Destiny for at least a few months if the quest doesn't complete after finishing one more crucible match.

2 RepliesMy hunter has the same problem. Wearing full set of armor when I reached full legend rank and my Solstice Strides will not register that I have Legend rank. If this is a bug hoping Bungie addresses it soon.

I can confirm that your workaround really works! I hit the extra 200, played a match, and now my legs are complete!

This is really stupid.\ [Edit] I did one match after I reset my Valor, and put on the emblem 'True Valor' and it seemed to do the trick.

7 RepliesI believe I found the solution to the problem. What I did was max out my valor rank once I got to legend rank so that my valor rank was available to reset. Once I maxed out my rank, I played one more game and the masterwork unlocked for me. The alternative is that somehow the problem resolved itself, but I believe this is the solution.

Hunter here, I had the same issue and still do. I was a legend and it didn't proc. Then I decided to reset the rank to see if that helped but it didn't. Seems like I am S.O.L. on this one...

I thought we had something going there, Bungie replied, and was working us through it and then they don't have an answer now, but its also not listed on known bugs. Bungie I love you guys, and this game is amazing, but pleases, tell us that SOMETHING is going to fix our problem.

I then logged back onto my Titan, completed another slew of crucible matches without any progress on getting the boots to acknowledge my Legend in Valor rank. I then purchased a new pair of boots, equipped the new pair, and completed ANOTHER crucible match. I am now sitting at 1906 Valor, having tried literally EVERYTHING I could possibly do to fix this, with no results. For those consistently posting on other threads and reddit: YES [b]I AM WEARING MY ENTIRE SET OF ARMOR......[/b] Bungie can we get SOME type of acknowledgement that this is something on your end and now something on ours, please.

Did you go all the way in the legend rank rank ? Or did you just pass from mythic to legend ? I just did pass from mythic to legend and it didn't proc either, so wanted to know if we have to complete the legend rank totally ...
