Just used 5 supers and didn’t get any percentage towards my solar super kills on my titan. Any body else having issues ?
-
Killed 30 enemies with just solar impact from bottom tree and tried top tree stuck at 15 % they were all individual kills and none were aoe I believe this is just broken.
-
Difficulty getting Titan solar kills for solstice armor- Getting kills from the sunspots has dramatically increased my progress. Also pop your super while standing next to enemies to get first sunspot before throwing. Push your enemies into the burn also.

Edited by XxMissXxAvaXx: 8/15/2018 4:52:13 AMStill broken. Just thought you might like to know. Wearing full set of rekindled armor, bottom tree. 85% after four public events, an adventure and two patrols. I might be a potato, but not that bad. Edit: switched to top tree as suggested by a few commenters; progress resumed and now complete. Awesome. How in the world does something like that even happen?

Come back, hoping to enjoy the event and a new expansion. Not only is this bugged, but these requirements for the gear are ridiculous, and you want people to do them 3 times? For armor that's not even relevant in September? You could just take a look at WoW-pre-expansion events and you know, do that. Really fun public events that shower you with gear and really put you in a good mood for the expansion. Given the track record, you probably tried to put these measures in place where Titans couldn't use exotics that would help fuel supers, for some stupid reason, and then introduced a bug by doing so. Like it matters. Let people use the gear they want to obtain the rewards they want. This solstice event was a waste of time.

2 RepliesStill getting this issue. For me the solar super on my Titan are only counting in witches ritual on titan. Annoying
-
1 Replybefor i complet reading , my answer is yes me i have the same problem , and i am very Upset from it.
-
1 Replyyou need to use the top tree for the sunbreaker. A lot of kills dont count for bottom tree
-
I bought the game again because everyone said forsaken showed promise. Then they drop the Solstice event and still the same issue. Constantly dropping content that isnt fully tested. Brilliant. Why pay for your game to go through tests when the public can pay you and do it for you.

1 ReplyI think what you have to do is not kill the enemies with the initial hit of the hammer, but rather the sunspot or mini-hammers that follow. I was farming around 20 enemies with my super and gained around 1%, but when i placed my hammers tactically to make the enemies walk into the sunspots i got more than 5% for less enemies. Worth a try. Good place to try is the hive lost sector on mars

1 ReplyIt's almost like Bungie doesn't thoroughly test their game or something.
-
go into prestige nf with solar burn and take a nightstalker buddy with you (not needed but faster). Clear the first room and progress down to second room of adds. Super the first adds down there and let the nightstalker tether the others to get your super back. Kill yourself and repeat....
-
2 RepliesSame. Been grinding all day. Kills only register occasionally. Super annoying 2-3 hours in and barely any progression. Fix this now!
-
Edited by Peridot Spinel: 8/2/2018 11:33:12 AMI'm also having the same problem.... hammer kills does not count into the crucible super kills... so I use striker... please fix this Bungie... no respond from u guys or what so ever... wth is going on???
-
I had this issue as well. First, you need to make sure that the piece of armor with the objective is equipped. 2nd, my kills weren’t counting when I used an exotic armor piece that had a perk that effected my super. I was using synthoceps. Once I took the exotic off and had the blue armor piece on I was able to finish the objective pretty quickly on mars by rallying public event flags and supering the thrall in the first level of EP. then fast traveling back and rallying the same flag again. Hope that works for you!

22 RepliesGreetings! Thank you for your report. You may want to delete your Solstice armor that is not counting toward the percentage, then reacquire it at the statute. Does that help your progression?
-
1 ReplyTry the top tree! I used the bottom tree originally and it didnt count right. Switched to the top and it seemed to work better. (Code of the fore forged)
-
crucible seems to be working but i maybe get like 4 super kills a game so thats serious grinding if they dont fix this
-
This is BS. It's taking forever to get this finished. Please fix this.
-
Yea it sucks I message bungie it self and got radio static. Feels bad man.
-
Yeah this is stupid, I have killed hundred of enemies. I have unequipped And re-equipped full armor set, I've deleted the full armor set and repurchased it, I tried both variations of the sunbreaker Titan..... And now I'm stuck at 61%! I understand the point of a grind to get potential loot, but this is ridiculous.
-
Edited by mja calg: 8/2/2018 10:58:17 PMIt takes forever to get that done. It's only supposed to be 200 kills, but lots were not registering. I wound up just going to a public event flag, grabbing it and immediately heading into a Lost sector to spend my Hammers on enemies. By Contrast, I got my 60 (or 90) Void melee kills with my Titan in no time. I simply popped my Void super and ran around punching thralls during an Adventure mission. And my Arc Grenade kills with Titan took very little time too.
-
I’ve noticed this too. I managed to get it done by farming the thrall in EP at BrayTech. You need to change the date on your PS4 so ransoms don’t steal your kills.

Edited by BionicRich: 8/2/2018 10:36:02 PMI was just looking in on this same issue. I'll try deleting the helm when i get in.
-
2 RepliesSame. Some supers I will kill 6 enemies and gain zero percent. Others I'll gain 1 or 2 percent. Seems bugged to me.
-
Yeah this an issue I was having. I saw some said they deleted the piece of gear that required it. Then reacquired it back from the statue and it let them progress again. It worked for me so I believe this is a current work around till they fix this issue. Deleting and reacquiring gear pieces does not reset your progress!
