Thank you so much. That was some of the most fun I’ve had on this game and it was definitely the most challenging. I loved all of it thoroughly.
The jumping puzzle was a ton of fun and reminded me a ton of VoG. The add clearing section was intense and annoying but I loved all of it.

93 RepliesNo this was not fun at all. 15 to 30mins to wait for a stupid event to randomly start. then a 20min timer to try to get threw small jumps that u can fall off of to get to 3 small rooms filed with mobs with little to no cover. Then a final room with zero cover with 30 some mobs in a giant cluster to run out of time and back to the waiting game for the event again to try again and again. This is the dumbest thing by far. 6 hrs of my life gone with nothing to show for it. If i want to play a jumping platform game ill play super mario bros not destiny.

2 RepliesSomeone needs to make a compilation of all the people who can't jump raging hard on the grassy room platforms prior to the shortcut, being found. My group of friends definitely had a few "laughing to hard to even see straight" moments.

No one cares about this game anymore, and your inability to get the job done quicker is a massive part of the problem. Well done on bringing back a four year old weapon, that i was forced to leave behind in a vastly better game than this one, so i could pay your company some more money for nothing. I don't mind the 380 ads on just the regular mission What I do mind, is that the Taken Blight PE goes on multi-hour hiatuses. Other than that, I love the mission even if I haven't finished it.

The 2x fire rates and 2x melee damage added to this missions overall damage increase makes the entire thing a bs luck fest. You will finish it eventually obviously but you accomplished nothing as finishing is basically the same thing as getting the item you want from a boss drop or chest. I strongly disagree with 3rd person cover based shooter damage outputs in a fps but maybe that is just me. That is what pve content in this game is now luck based crap. You need a series of lucky moments where the game decides not to obliterate you and your fire team to finish. You won't finish when everything in the room decides to attack 1 person at a time until the entire fire team is dead. You won't finish when everything decides to charge at you and melee for no earthly reason. Since it is taken taking cover is out as well as taken crap goes through walls. Your success will be entirely dependent on luck no skill involved. Having to earn the same gun 3x btw is sort of lame i have to say. Btw if Bungie are interested in fixing the damage problem. Use the masterworked armor to give damage reduction to offset the fire rate + melee increase. (50% reduction would make the game just like d1. However i recommend a 20-25% reduction to hit a probable sweet spot.) The very least that could be done is the 15% max when in super is permanent in pve. Obviously no damage reductions should apply to pvp.

This one mission...for a gun weve all had since the gokden age....brought a full list of friends back online to play it. I could complinent you, Bungie, but I just cant. Why can you not see what we like and just do more of that? We like this. Do this.

Finally starting to feel like D1 again!!! :) -Now if they would just hammer out a few minor details like the Heroic Strike mods and the Ikora Meditations becoming Milestones i thing we'd be looking at a really great game!

4 RepliesAlthough I’ve really enjoyed running the mission I kind of wish they had waited til after Forsaken to release. What is going to happen to all current exotic weapons after Forsaken releases? Will they be locked to their current slot? If so it really sucks that I may never be able to equip the Whisper in my energy slot.

This was beautiful. It frustrated me that we had to wait for a taken public event (one stage we got four cabal events in a row) but it really reminded me of the best times at D1 waiting with your friends for a public event and the grind was worth it! (We werent grinding for a banner and tokens!!) More of these kinds of special missions please!

I'm really hoping that we can expect stuff akin to this from the Dreaming City/Ascendant Realm, as Destiny's at its best when there's equal measures of exploration, platforming, and combat.
