Do Flat Earthers believe in Discal Warming?

1 ReplyFight the earth. Maybe it will change its mind

1 ReplyThe evidence for a flat earth is derived from many different facets of science and philosophy. The simplest is by relying on ones own senses to discern the true nature of the world around us. The world looks flat, the bottoms of clouds are flat, the movement of the sun; these are all examples of your senses telling you that we do not live on a spherical heliocentric world. This is using what's called an empirical approach, or an approach that relies on information from your senses. Alternatively, when using Descartes' method of Cartesian doubt to skeptically view the world around us, one quickly finds that the notion of a spherical world is the theory which has the burden of proof and not flat earth theory. Perhaps the best example of flat earth proof is the Bedford Level Experiment. In short, this was an experiment performed many times on a six-mile stretch of water that proved the surface of the water to be flat. It did not conform to the curvature of the earth that round earth proponents teach.

5 RepliesExplain why you can see the curve of the Earth at the top of Mt. Everest? Or why the Earth is visibly a sphere from space. And why we have sent a team to the moon? And Rovers to Mars? And how the Soviet Union got a image of the Surface of Venus? And how we didn't find the edge yet? Or crossed over it? and what is on the Other side? I can already guarantee all of science and logic will disagree with you.

So you ready to fight?

1 ReplyNo, you don’t.

5 RepliesRiddle me this, if the earth is flat then how come I can dig a hole straight down and end up in China?
-
8 RepliesEdited by Slain: 7/6/2018 2:13:55 AMGravity acts precisely downward everywhere on earth. On a flat earth, gravity would pull you sideways as you get further from the center of mass. Also, compass. Also, even if the earth was flat at some point, its own gravity would cause it to gradually collapse into a sphere.

10 RepliesOk wise guy. Why is it that the other planets and some moons(like our own)are spheres and the earth is flat?
