For clarification sake. All year 1 items will be getting the weapon slot treatment. Some items ( like iron banana) could potentially run random rolls.

You know Bungie, when you told us at the start of Destiny that you were working on an MMO that would carry forward over the course of 10 years I figured we would have a game that would build on progress over that time frame. We should be able to use our old stuff regardless. It really isn't that interesting to hear that you are letting us keep the stuff we already had. We should have it anyway. We already earned it. Stop taking it away. On the flip side of that issue, stop giving us reskins and regurgitated features and content as 'New Stuff'. You keep taking things away, giving it back, and calling it new content. It's insulting. Just so you know, I've been paying attention all these years. If you aren't going to try anymore, just say that. If you can't afford to invest resources into making this work well anymore, Just Say That. I would be a lot more likely to continue to support you if you would just put in an honest effort and give me an honest expectation. I don't see how you're getting out of the hole YOU dug and I really don't care if you do at this point. I'm past the point of letting my emotions get tied up in your success now. What I do care about is how you handle it. You continue to tell me everything is getting better, that you're listening to the community, and that you are sorry ('sorry' is something that we've barely heard). Then you continue to give me content that contains the equivalent entertainment of a $10 game or add-on elsewhere. You're giving us mini-games and calling them expansions. I'm very much on the verge of never buying one of your games again because you aren't giving us a quality game and at the same time telling me that you are. If we're all being honest in this, that leaves the conclusion that my perception of a quality game is off or your perception of a quality game is off. I don't feel like it's mine.

I love how everyone is just repeating the same thing over and over again like Bungie doesn’t already know. At this point, whining is doing nothing. Bungie’s acknowledged your complaints, and while y’all might be salty, they’re trying, regardless of whether it’s to please the player base or make sure they’re getting paid, they are. Also I’m sorry, but people who expect the DLC to be free just because they weren’t satisfied with their last purchase need to gain a few brain cells and realize that it doesn’t work that way. People still need to get paid, believe it or not the employees at Bungie aren’t tireless robots doing Deej’s bidding. They’re people with jobs who need to pay for their homes and to feed themselves and their families. If you don’t want to buy the DLC, then don’t. But don’t keep coming here bitching about how bad the game is, repeating the same thing over and over just because you weren’t satisfied. Too bad so sad. Get over your ego. I think it should be, that if you don’t buy the expansion you should not get or see anything new added, i for one am good already pre ordered the digital deluxe edition

Can we get back the kephri's sting for the hunter please? It was my favorite exotic for taking down players in super without weapons or other supers.. I had so many fun plays with it in mayhem ,taking down all the supers with my melee ability.
