Lol, two dlc a year ain’t gonna cut it. 3 dlc maybe. 2 dlc and a taken king or ROI sized expansion possibly. I now the leviathan is big and all but I’m tired of it. I don’t play it because all the gear is mostly trash and ugly. We should’ve had a warmind raid where Rasputin test us and gives us awesome gear as a reward to fight the coming threats. All this trickle content shit ain’t gonna work for D2 as it did in D1. Been there, done that.

Edited by ShrowdOfChaos: 6/5/2018 6:44:22 PMI've got one big suggestion for you when working on Forsaken.. Treat the Story, the Quests, Raid, etc as a full blown story as you did with TTK.. Destiny needs to return to the 'campaign' and story, lore , etc, filled days we had from TTK on.. Not the lackluster jumbled mess of a story, etc, we've gotten with Destiny 2 this far. You CANNOT repeat the story and lore mistakes you keep repeating.. that stuff IS much more important to the community than most realize. We cannot have another Warmind story where we get 4 huge lore characters and get an abysmal story for them, and atrocious endings to their story and place in the game. Example: making the Stranger Elsie just to tie up that loose end.. Xol, Rasputine, Ana, and Other dude.. all big characters in the lore... 4 lackluster story missions that had us rushing all over... no quest tie ins... no unique strikes... raids dont tie into the story (and for what bit that does tie em in you need to hunt for lore and read armor to find out how)

1 ReplyI'm probably one of the few that has high hopes for the Forsaken expansion. Overall, yes Destiny 2 has had a bumpier journey than Destiny. I won't go over how bumpy. Anyone who has looked at the forums once in the last 9 months knows how bumpy. But Bungie has made progress. Warmind while short was considerably better than the Curse of Osiris expansion. I left after the Dawning event. That's how pissed I was with this game. Didn't play again until the last faction rally. Honestly, that is what a lot of people need to do. Take a break. I played Fortnite, CoD, Borderlands, FInal Fantasy XV, Monster Hunter World, Gears of War, hell even Homefront: The Revolution. And plenty more. That break was just what I needed. I mean I bought the Digital Deluxe Edition of D2 so I was coming back, if only to play the story missions. Bungie has made some decent strides in the right direction. Sure they haven't fixed everything. Their continued laziness with strikes still pisses me off to no end. Strikes were the one endgame thing I loved most about D1. I -blam!-ing hate PvP in Destiny, I'm a PvE player. So I'm hoping Bungie will find their balls with Forsaken. No recycled story missions for strikes. That's what I want most. So I'm gonna watch the reveal. Hopefully Bungie knocks it out of the park, not likely. But I hope they do. I still play D2 because D1 introduced me to the best gaming community ever. Not the Destiny community in general. But the clan I play with. They are amazing. So come on Bungie. Kill it in the best way possible.

I definately will not be buying this expansion, not after this situation with strike catalysts. I see now that any cool loot you introduce to the game will have a 0.00001 percent chance to drop off some activity that takes 20+ minutes to do, so you can do it over and over again and never get it. What a terrible way to try to keep people playing your game.

D2 has been failuer and a insult to the player base. Know bungie is making a new game that has nothing to with the half assed destiny game. Now we can see why Destiny has no content and a huge mess of a story. With the connection to the china company way more Grredboxes and microtransaction are going to be the center piece as this is exactly what bungie has done with D2. Do Not Buy any DLC or anything ever again as bungie has shown Destiny is at best an after thought to them. Destiny has been guessed by players, Youtubers, and Streamers to be dead and Dying. Well now we know that bungie has no intention to make Destiny any better ever. Its over and done. A failuer from start to end. Check Google/Kotaku.com for yourself.

As happy I am to see new content on it's way I have to say the recycling and reskinned content is way too far at this point. Selling us the reef back again? I am such a fanboi but this is raising more doubts than anything I have ever felt about Destiny. Will be watching the stream closely. I sincerely hope for new fresh planets, enemies (frozen fallen no thanks), new exotics.
