Unable to start Warmind DLC, Xbox One
So I bought the season pass when I got Destiny 2 for Xbox One and was able to play Curse of Osiris when it was released but today when The Fallen Warmind was released, I got on after the servers were up and it said I had to buy the DLC. I thought that this might of been a small glitch and I uninstalled the "Expansion 2" from my console and I went to reinstall it. It's name changed to "Expansion 2: Warmind" so I thought that was the problem. Reinstalled it and it still says I need to buy the expansion.
Is this just some day one glitch or do I really have to spend another $20 on something I already own?
*EDIT*: I got in contact with some people and they said that another server maintenance "should be" coming here soon and is "expected to be done around 2:00-3:00pm Pacific time". Hopefully this will be fixed by tonight so we can all play it!

Same thing happens to me on Xbox im not game game sharing. Some times it lets me in and I’m playing then when I stop and go back on it the next day the error saying its damaged or missing and the whole oh you already own this but it’s trying to download it thing as well. Do we have to uninstall everything and install it all again

Had to start the game with my Account at Homeconsole first, then after it worked at 2nd console too.

I buy dlc warmind in ps store the download button is missing I'm in the UAE is region locked but I play osiriis I try licensed restore but nothing can you help to fix this

Yes, I was able to do the first part of the story for the Warmind but when I am told to go the EDZ there is no other story part there. A good friend was able to finish the story is able to play other section of the new DLC. This really sucks and I hope they fix this crap very soon.

13 Repliesit has been confirmed that bungie decided to make so that you cannot game share the second expansion and it must be bought under that account to play it. so bungie did what they always do and made it so they make more money and lose more of their community do to that issue.

4 RepliesFrom Twitter Console players that purchased the Season Pass may need to activate their licenses for the Warmind expansion to enable access to the content. This can be done through the console game library or by navigating to the console store page for the expansion.

I've been restarting/opening the game every 15 mins since the release of the Warmind expansion and as of now when I opened the game it prompted me with a 10MB update for Warmind Expansion 2 and as of now I have access to the Warmind Expansion Content.

Think it working now, I just updated expansion 2 and it works on Xbox one.

This is literally the only xbox game that I have enjoyed playing, and I have been playing for years since Destiny 1 came out. I'm very disappointed, because I will not buy the expansion for a second time. I have been game sharing within my own house since day one, and if they are going to take that away, then their going to lose 2 more members of the destiny community. The Destiny games are the best games I have ever played. Please stop ruining them, Bungie.
