Well, I liked the reveal
I enjoyed pretty much everything I saw. And I appreciate that they didn't show and spoilered too much.

New activities are always a plus. All the changes they are making are also positives. I'm pumped for the exotic changes. I'm pumped for the new raid lair. I'm pumped that activities have unique weapons to grind for. I'm pumped for exotic catalysts.

It'll be a nice change of pace to what we have been doing, it looks entertaining enough but outside of exotic changes it's fundamentally more of D2 as is, I don't think anyone who isn't enjoying D2 currently is going to be convinced to change their mind and I think it's fairly clear this DLC isn't setting out to do that, the whole build up of that stream was do not expect this content drop to fundamentally alter your D2 experience it will not do that nor was it designed to.

I'm intrigued but it still won't be able to dig the franchise out of the hole they already dug. I haven't deleted my copy of D2 on my hard drive because I am holding out hope that maybe one day, hopefully soon, it will be worth playing again. I do like the Escalation Protocol addition but I feel like it is going to get stale fast. Is that supposed to be the "new" game mode they were talking about or the PoE re-addition they were talking about?

reveal was nice. them saying you get chests every ( I believe 3 and 5) waves always sounds cool, until one of them opened the chest and got 2 tokens 1 blue. all in all, in my opinion Bungie has always been good at making things Sound great that end up being mediocre at best.

4 RepliesI have a feeling we've been manipulated buy bungee when they said new enemy everyone expected a new enemy race which would be awesome but if Bungie says it right they really don't have to add a new race just one new enemy 1 different enemy like the hive worm God Bungie's argument we never told you there would be a whole new race just a new enemy so they cover their ass by using the right words and Bungie if you read this thrall covered in ice is not an enemy if I put a t-shirt on my wife instead of a dress that doesn't make her a new wife

7 RepliesOh so did I for each DLC till I learned bungie is the master of deception. The hype is real I think they were a little worried for this one so paid the streamers to come out for a preview. And low and behold all of them are hyping it except for Drlupo who really doesn’t care because he has like 30,000 viewers playing fortnite.

12 Replieswell I didn't have a wow moment, but its a step in the right direction. the Huckleberry though - Well this was an interesting twist. 750 rpm.... mmmm I cant wait for the Nerf Nerds to start bitching about this in PVP. this gun is on my Farm List., the New armor Looks Nice, so does the Weapons. the "NEW" Enemy, I mean? Frozen Hive? - Let it go... let it go, just... let it go man. as for the "NEW" Exotics, - I mean? seriously - if they are going to Return Exotics from D1 they can at least give the good Shit back, I never played D1 myself, but I remember my brother having a seizure and required an exorcist when he got the Hawkmoon. its like asking a chef for a deliciously nice meal, and he goes and takes your shit you just took, shoves it on a plate and calls it Truffles. but all in all, this was a move in the right direction I feel, but in all honesty I think that this is a bit, too little too late, they should have done this with CoO and then given us a Decent Expansion for Season 3.
