I've taken the liberty of removing the gaming account names of the person(s) who you stated were cheating.

If those reports and the investigation bear fruit, the cheaters will be dealt with. But things like making a vid, creating a topic, and/or naming them here on the forums serves no purpose and has no benefit. For those who who want to take the extra step, or were kicked from the game (and are unable to access the reporting tool), Bungie has created a Cheating Submission Form that allows players to find the PGCR (Post Game Carnage Report) from their personal history, fill out an official report, describe the cheating, and even link a vid (if they have one). Please feel free and encouraged to use this tool, but pay close attention to the warnings on the form.
* If you are not confident that a player was cheating, do not use this form.
* Abuse of this contact form may result in account restrictions.
* Fraudulent reports and submissions unrelated to cheating may result in disciplinary actions against your account.

Edited by Konrad: 4/20/2018 2:34:32 PMLmao, so Ninja's are censoring account names of people who violated the ToS and slapping a copypasta over posts that expose them? GG Bungo, GG. Also quit with the [ReDaCtEd] you're not the CIA

4 RepliesDude, your gonna get a warning or banned for pointing out someones name. Youll get banned yet the person cheating remains active since Destiny 1 lol GG Wasnt there a exploit to load into a empty lobby? Seeing as cheaters are not punished you should try it. if you do get banned then at least you know for sure whats going on here

3 RepliesEdited by Seraphim Crypto: 4/20/2018 1:47:25 PM[REDACTED] (inb4 redaction)Mans an infamous cheater, since D1 to present day. Plenty of YouTube videos; maybe bungie should get their head out their asses and actually ban him.
Ninja Edit
I've taken the liberty of removing the gaming account names of the person(s) who you stated were cheating. This is all Bungies Fault too. They have absolutely NO EXCUSE for going Peer to Peer networking and lying about the (non) role of their "Hybrid Servers" strategy. This exposes your IP Address to everyone in the game, making DOS and other IP Exploits a simple thing to do regardless of Platform, including random players "supposedly" on your team who want to Grief you. If they had Host Servers, your IP address is only known by the Host and no one else in the game can get it, so they can not DOS you or run other similar IP Exploits. However, no solution prevents people from Lag Switching, which is why one can find so many references to making and using them.

You and all of your so called policies are lies! You do not do anything to cheaters!! Remove your own name from this forum you spineless low life!
-
6 RepliesTypical Bungie... Protect the cheaters. This game will be nothing but lag switches and DDOS... All thanks to Bungie having no spine.

The time when trials and cheaters are off our game the time we celebrate!

6 RepliesNot sure what’s wrong with these Ninjas. Shouldn’t cheaters be exposed and ridiculed?
-
8 RepliesYo ninjas if you spent half as much time moving people’s post or sending warnings maybe this guy would be banned. I mean what the F? There’s proof everywhere and the guy still plays?
-
7 RepliesThats a popular cheater i heard about him the other day

Edited by Irish Banana: 4/20/2018 7:26:53 PM
mr moldable....... mr mold..... mould and his friend (sounds like hAnubis) should be banned. And anyone that plays with them. And anyone that paid them, knowing they were cheaters should be removed from the internet. Pottery boy and his friends more than likely have other accounts/consoles. Perma bans for everyone is the answer. And the sooner the better.
Bungie takes naming players so seriously that players continue to cheat without punishment. Those pesky forum posters that get angry though, they get banned quicker than you can get done with porn
-
3 RepliesWell then if you take cheating seriously ban the people this man named you -blam!-ing ninja don’t just hide them and act like it never happened

Reported a guy who started sweeping the floor after he charged me with a sword, I unloaded on him while he was sweeping, no damage taken, next thing I know, he is gone, and I'm dead from a sword.

2 RepliesEdited by Alsatrax: 4/20/2018 3:42:15 PMAll they have to do is fix this Glitch It's what he's using.

But if they actually banned the cheaters the trials player base would be about 7 people.
-
The problem with cheating is, that for us, the players, it's about a level playing field, while for the developers it's about their reputation first of all. By actively banning players Bungie would take the risk that this creates more attention to the issue than just ignoring it, Massive did the exact same thing with The Division. And this is also the reason why you can't "name & shame" cheaters on the forum, which is again the exact same thing in The Division forums. The irony is that ppl call each other names left and right in both forums, so neither Bungie nor Massive give a crap about anyone's personal rights or feelings, and the most toxic players of a game are the ones enjoying the most protection from the studio behind it. I hate to say it, but this is yet another thing where Epic showcased how to do it right with Fortnite. They were very transparent about cheaters, improved their detection tools and even filed lawsuits against some providers of cheats. Bungie is a company that is too big, arrogant and sated from previous success, to easily shift their directions or just rethink their stances on topics. And on top of all of that, they come from making (mostly) console games, so they never really had to think much about anticheat. It's a very common mistake, found in many games that come from console to PC.

I bet you they don't give a rats ass about cheaters. *Sigh
