Do not even try to put into their heads that grinding is a bad thing. It is a chase for something desirable... Just like the Hawkmoon, Icebreaker, Matador 64, Thorn, Fatebringer, Vex Mythoclast, Gjallarhorn, and many more. People chased those weapons, and when they finally got them they went crazy. That was their main reason for coming back to the game; The chase and grind, and there needs to be more of it.

those where still 10x easyer then what it is in d2. and i mean i would be ok with this if you could grind this when ever, but its locked behind weekly resets.

Now that it has been a while, and this post is still relevant in a small way... The D.F.A. is hard as hell to get, but I'm not upset about it. I still don't have it lol.

Im not upset about it either, but there was a week i grinded the hell out of, and then bungie says .. yea nightfall rewards arnt drop and then i just kinda took a month long break i was so pissed. Forsaken made me happy.. uh besides the masterwork corse required to power your armor

Those weapons weren't timed-exlusive to a week.

You only had one chance per week per character to get a chance at the Icebreaker. Don’t complain about something that gives players a reason to come back to the game. It leads the devs down the wrong path just because you can’t get your hands on one gun. It took me two years to get the Red Death, and I played over 2300 hours. This game doesn’t need handouts for weak players.

Most of them actually were... Your only real chance at an exotic could only be run once a week per nightfall, raid, or endgame activity of choice.
