Same lazy ass reskins for Faction Rallies. And you wonder why people continue to stop playing.
Please hurry up with the next dlc that I paid for so I can delete this shit.

It’s not just the re skins that bother me, it does, but why do they make new weapons that are subpar to what’s already in the game? Like even the new expansions, they’ll have like 2 guns that are decent and a handful of “usable” guns but nothing that competes with the already current meta. *cough* antiope/Uriel’s *cough*

1 ReplyFaction rally is so boring. Because it doesn't change up the gameplay or introduce any interesting ideas at all. Essentially you still do exactly what you normally do in the game but get some additional tokens to turn in for some mostly mediocre gear. It's typical of the lack of imagination and effort that characterise D2 as a whole.

Reskins been around since Destiny 1. But random rolls ensured that your loot was still varied and enjoyable. A reskinned weapon became my mainstay gun in D1. Also, D2's shader system makes reskinned stuff less relevant, since you'll be custom coloring stuff anyway.

3 RepliesNo kidding... I f I hadn't bought the limited edition, I sure as hell wouldn't have bought DLC 1&2...Man they got me good, hook,line and sinker. The messed up thing is I knew better, that little voice in my head was telling me to cancel my preorder after playing the beta...but logic was telling me that after all we've been through during D1 to get to this point that Bungie was gonna knock this one outta the park...Bungie and logic aren't even in the same universe, oh well, there is a silver lining though; at least I won't be putting all my time and money in to the D2 grind like I did with D1 and I'll be able to play all the new games coming this year.

Shouldn’t surprise us that they are this lazy at this point. I agree with you that you this reskin stuff needs to stop, and things should be unique. Sadly Bungie is looking more towards screwing its players than improving the experience.

2 RepliesThey are strictly just emptying out the remaining season two weapons. This rally and the next Iron banner will have them slap out of all known season two weapons. Sad thing is by my notion Season 3 will still be Months away. Talk about a sad place to be.

Man I feel you on that. By now it would’ve been nice to see some original designs for the faction weapons. Plot-wise, why haven’t the factions bribed foundries to design new weapon concepts for them? I feel like they’d want to stand out from what’s already being offered! It surprises me that the art team, who imo seem really talented, doesn’t implement more creativity into the game. I honestly feel like the artwork and music for this game is excellent! Now I understand a game is limited by memory space but there has to be more that can be included! Have you seen the Destiny Art books, they contain some interesting concepts! In the end, I totally agree with you on this!
