WHY DOES SHAX HAVE MY RAZE LIGHTER IT MAKES NO SENSE LORE WISE OR GAME PLAY WISE!!!!!!!!
EDIT 1: I'm not late in seeing it I saw it at launch but.... it just grow more frustrating every time i think about. And yes all weapons in a Vault would have been lost. But the Iron Temple would of had an armory where the weapon were physically there just in case of transmat jamming.... i mean seriously who builds a military base without an armory. Seeing as how we are an iron lord we would of had some choice weapons there....... #ICEBREAKER could holdout forever in that base with that there.

Destiny logic. Destiny 1, use sword to block most attacks and sword would not take a single scratch. Destiny 2, cabal shoots at my vault and blow up everything in my vault, including all my swords. Swords lost forever.

Fyi... it's cannon that there can be more then one exotic in one time period. If you didn't know there's a mission in D1 where you can find an Easter egg that lets you see one of Cayde's stashes and he says "help yourself to the glimmer but leave the exotics" of course there's nothing to be found because the fallen stole it. And I seriously doubt that Shaxx wouldn't make his own sword anyway

Well, since Shaxx was an absolute sword fetishist way back in D1 during the sword quests, you can probably just assume that he forged his own after he helped forge yours. I mean, there's no way he didn't snag some of the Hadium you bagged in the hundreds off the Dreadnought.
