Is this device condoned by bungie on PC ?
Serious question I'd love to know the answer to.
The Xim4. Is it ok with you bungie If I bought one of these to use on the PC to gain aim assist while using mouse and keyboard?
I don't want to exploit or cheat , so thought id check with you first. Maybe you don't see this as an exploit or cheat?

Keep in mind this was during the beta , there was a huge pc player base calling for aim assist to be removed. Bungie didn't listen , now there are so few people playing on the pc it's a joke. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sS2zX9Qnir4 I am convinced todays player base would have been bigger on the pc if you catered more to pc gamers. Strange as that may sound. lol

4 RepliesJust out of curiousity, why would you want aim assist? In my mind it means you use something artificial to delude yourself about your skill level. It just doesn't sound fun to me.

Considering that, in one of their community focus bits, Bungie featured a streamer who openly used xim4 on ps4, speaks of them condoning its use. Also, what others have already commented, xim4 registers as a regular controller, so it can't therefore be detected...

3 RepliesConsidering there is literally no way to see if a person is using one, I wouldn't say it is condoned ... what I would say is that there is no way to impose punishment on those that do. Overall, it is a scummy move but it is not fully against the rules.
