Lets be honest, the casuals have mostly left. Give us something challenging in pvp. This also makes gear more relevant. Could be cool to see again.

Unfortunately Bungie killed any chance of that happening when they allowed access to people that do not own the DLC.
-
I don't even like PvP and I don't understand why they took that away lol
-
The end of power matters was good. It was a road block for many players, and when you won you didn't know if you were good or if you just over powered your enemy. When you played a power matters mode you were FORCED to equip your highest light gear, not the weapons you were best with. This system allows everyone to participate, and everyone can use anything they want. So no. Power Matters was bad for Destiny, and worse for players.

1 ReplyNot going to happen, not everyone purchased the dlc. The ones that didn't would be at a disadantage and would bitch. Now the weapons and armor dropping at your light level or better would be nice to see again.
-
2 RepliesYou pvp pussies are the reason D2 or shitstiny 0.9 sucks. You wanted balance, you got it, this destiny is for you.... crucibitches
-
You cant have that now because everyone can join IB, same with faction rallies, even the people without the DLC, enabling power level would make people cry and moan because you have to buy the DLC to "remain competitive" in those activities.
-
4 RepliesIron banner needs to go back to light / power matters . That’s what made it special .
-
2 RepliesSorry but lord salad man refuses to fix iron Boner
-
It looks like these faction rally changes will also run in ib as well so it's going to be pointless. One new gun if we are lucky and some cosmetics.
-
3 RepliesI would like no light level in this game. Just a deep mod system, lots of weapon skins.
-
1 ReplyEdited by PROCK7: 1/18/2018 9:15:30 PMI honestly found the IB light level difference to be so small it didn’t matter or the person with the lower light was lagging so hard that they were invincible!

Why is your arrow pointing at your avatar?

It still wouldn't be the same. It took a lot MORE grinding in D1 to reach a worthy level to play Iron Banner. Here, everybody almost has the requirement due to exotics just handed down as participation rewards. Do we want a leveled IB? Pssh yeah! But it still wouldn't feel the same. It's just pushing it at this point.
-
It never happens.
-
This post would get more likes, but they’re all gone playing other games
-
Iron banner was special when Light/Power was also special. That was not a thing for a while ago even in D1.. Imagine now that almost everyone is or can be max light in 2 weeks or less there is no special factor in it. Plus everyone knew that there should be a massive Light difference beetween two guardians for actual more damage
-
2 RepliesConsidering the gear and armour is pretty much cosmetic, I’m not sure this would make a difference to the game. Unless you were super low light in D1, it didn’t make much difference as it was.
-
Edited by SolarCerberuS: 1/18/2018 9:09:41 PMYou do realise that the LL difference was that minimal you had to have 50+ light difference for it to even start being effective for D1 right? Below that it really only effected high rof bullet hose type autos and low impact pulses with maybe only 1 or 2 extra rounds required for a kill
-
Unless youbare planning on seeing a bunch of sub 300 level players, it won't matter with how the system is built.
-
Dude it really didn't ever matter. This topic is just people finding more excuses to complain. It was never really a difference maker in D1 so what difference would it make in D2?
-
Why do they even say power level disabled if it's not enabled in iron banner or trials any more ??
-
Yeah this game sucks
-
Maybe if it was more like D1 and there was more 1v1 engagements, but it wouldn't really work for D2. You have 1 or 2 people on your team that aren't maxed out and your entire team suffers thanks to the team-shooting aspect. Those 2 drop like flies and then it's 2v4 the entire game.
-
They would never do this as those whom did not purchase the DLC are unable to get to 335, therefore would be a severe disadvantage. I don't believe there will be separate queues for Iron Banner. I think it will be like Mayhem was. Just my two cents.
-
2 RepliesEdited by One Shot Ted: 1/18/2018 9:02:03 PMEh, I don't particularly care. Everyone and his brother has at least one max light (or close to it) character by now. Light scaling wouldn't make a difference at this point.
The only reason I'm 334 is because I got literally 4 milestones with Khepri's Horn and a Pulse Rifle in a row. I -blam!-ing hate pulse rifles.
-
9 RepliesLL scaling wouldn't work. It would make it basically impossible for anyone at lower light to get kills. Right now melee are 3 hits to kill, abilities like Shoulder Charge aren't close to a OHK and there are no OHK grenades. If those were dropped in effectiveness at all, in conjunction with the 1:1 weapon balance, it would be pointless to even try if you weren't 335.
