How many people still prefer the weapon system in D1 where you have primary, special and heavy from what we have in D2?

The main problem with the D2 system isn’t 2 primaries From a PvP standpoint The problem is, why would I waste time attempting to use a sniper, when I can simply use a rocket And from a pve stand point, it makes you powerless and dumping primary ammo into a bullet sponge IMO Is incredibly boring That’s just me

I like the CURRENT WEAPON SYSTEM. Having 2 auto rifles is cool to me.

The system from D1 was preferable for me, with some caveats. I don't miss PvP sniper campfests from D1, not even one little bit. The choice between sniper rifle and rocket launcher fixes that a bit, as does the heavily limited ammo. I do miss using a shotgun regularly. They were great fun, and could be very strong. I do miss Black Spindle + Hunger of Crota.

I prefer two Primaries, but I think that's just because I never like Shotguns or Fusions. Would much rather use a long and a short range primary both at the same time than be starving for two types of ammo at the same time.

Hate the new system. At this point I've given up on D2 and hoping D3 will just change everything back. We've been quite vocal and it would be stupid for Bungie to continue down this path. If it stays this way the Destiny Franchise is Over.

I only say D1 is better because snipers are complete trash in D2.

The main reason why I am boycotting any D2 DLC is the weapon slot. Mixing Special and Heavy weapons is sooo NO NO. D2 can have 4 weapon slots. Now that is an improvement from D1. I will buy D2 DLC.

1 ReplyI prefer the weapon system in D1 for pve only. I liked having a sniper/shotty and a rocket launcher when battling enemies. For pvp, i prefer the weapon system in D2.

I just hate being automatically switched to kinetic weapon after a super instead of energy I was using just before. Throws me off every time. F, what's wrong... oh this is a scout riffle not an auto rifle lol

I dont care that much. BUT SNIPERS WERE WAY MORE FUN IN SECONDARY SLOT. WHY BUNGIE????. And since snipers dont do much damage anyway, I say #SecondarySnipers. Although, maybe reduce the amount of ammo you get in crucible to say 3 shots per spawn. Its simply how it was in D1, which wasnt considered op so why not in d2. ALSO BRING BACK LMGs WTF bungie.

Just remember...if they do that, special ammo will be rare again. You can’t have it both ways.

I think the energy weapons should have felt more like energy weapons, and not “guns with elemental damage” Same for power weapons, some of the snipers and [b]especially[/b] the grenade launchers, don’t feel like power weapons.

Play pve 90% of the time, and i still think that the D1 weapon system is way better than the D2 WS.

D1 is better in every way, shape and form!!! I actually miss my addiction to it. Back on the division just now which has been awesome since 1.8. I reckon they should dump D2 and just update D1. What dreams are made of

4 Repliesthe single guy that decided to overwall the weapon system when their sandbox was playing so fun with D1 system is a complete ass hat ! seriously double primaries is stupid, heavy slot is so crowded and unbalanced, 99% of people carry rocket launcher in heavy, shows how failed this system is, primary is also very stupid, it's just auto riffles, we went from auto, sniper, rocket in D1 to just 1 auto and 1 rocket for weapons !

Needs to change. For example, in D1 I was constantly switching weapons around to ensure I have the best elemental damage going. In D2 I don’t even pay attention.
