There are games with systems that are rather bad but complaints are bare minimum.

Fortnite's battle royale is a bad one. Compare how much you get per level up with the battle pass vs not paying and there are plenty of xp boosts in the battle pass. Free you get just stickers, emotes and 200 vbucks, which isn't enough to buy a single thing in the store. Also you get 1 thing every 3 or 4 levels, compared to the often 2 or 3 things per level if you pay. You also don't get a single thing after level 36-70 where as you still get 1-3 things per level if you pay. Just finding this out made me stop playing.
