How many duplicates and garbage shaders have you been 'rewarded' from the Dawning?
The loot table is weighted to give you garbage and to waste your time, all in the hope you get frustrated and get your cash out.

They have PURPOSEFULLY and SYSTEMATICALLY been nerfing XP and loot drops the whole time with Eververse as it's main focus and hub of it's cause much like a gambling simulator which throttles chance and progress for real money to retain and monetise content. no duplicates, i played for two dawning gifts and deemed them not worth the effort. i cleared the enjoyable milestones last week, no upgrades or interesting gear, got an exotic that went to the inventory because my legendary gun performs better. Destroyed a few masterworks...almost 10 so i can make a weapon i actually use masterwork for a slight improvement i wont even notice through gameplay. Im pretty much forcing myself to log in...i really want to keep playing through the last expansion but thats going to be a challenge.

1 ReplyThis holiday event is excruciating. Grinding is fine, I get that it’s part of the game and all I want are the armor pieces. But Jesus Christ none of the rewards from the gift schematics even drop a single piece of Bright Dust that I can save up to use for the armor pieces that are featured in Eververse. Because this stupid micro transaction thing is it’s main loot pool, I play and play and play the game and I watch South Park while running strikes just so I can stay awake long enough to get Illuminated Engrams. And what do they give me? Bout 30/1200 Bright Dust I need to purchase these armor pieces. It’s like they almost give you no choice but to spend money on Silver. 🤔

From the free dawning engrams I have gotten (7 so far) I have gotten 5 sparrows and 2 ships they are so saturated with junk I'm never spending a dime on silver (I mean hey I wasn't going to anyway but this reenforces that)
