The grind is back. Mercury weapons, masterwork weapons, and ornaments have given me a reason to play. The new vendor system has even given me a reason to chase every armor set. Faction rallys and iron banner will be worth grinding as well when they come back. Oh yeah, we still have the Dawning. CoO is so much better than the Debbie Downers imply.

Ew. Reported.

Glad you're enjoying it. It bugs me that people will hate on you for an unpopular opinion.

Keep padding that feature list. Whatever helps you sleep at night.

1 ReplyI hated coo when I started . But as time goes on I’m loving the verses and grinding them out . Flashpoint on mercury is kinda fun with all the fade in fade out action . It’s just too short . I wish masterworks and exotics would drop a bit more frequent . It’s just not right grinding for a day and having nothing show for it ...

1 Replyim glad some people are enjoying what there is. i enjoy SOME of the grind except i already grinded all these strikes and am so sick of doing them for the expansion. shouldve had heroic adventures on all locations honestly

Debbie Does Destiny
-
5 RepliesThe Debbie downers got you all of those things you enjoy. The masterworks. The ornaments. Etc. those were all installed into the game because of the loud noise the people made that have been playing destiny for 3+ years. Just FYI.
-
They've got a long way to go to bring the fun back but I agree, it's a decent attempt with hopefully more to come. I still will never pre order any Destiny content going forward. I don't trust them.
-
Me too, but it won't tide me over until the next dlc. They will need to make the next one absolutely spectacular to get back on people's good side after recent events.

Are you coo coo for CoO?

Dang pal, this is the sad state of the forum. A positive post with one upvote showing. There’re a lot of salty fanboys hanging about.

Hi O B Jon Me 2. Best part is mucking around with my Clan mates. Sure the game can improve and it has, did you check out some of the API data mining ? Looks like more improvements in the pipe for Jan. 👍 Merry Xmas gallp 🎄🥂

2 RepliesEdited by Lord Kielron: 12/15/2017 5:37:03 PMEhh I find it a bit boring, especially the material grind for the forge stuff, since they limited the material carry capacity.... Get tired of running strikes and pub events after a short while...

850 comments. 3 upvotes. What an odd coincidence anyone who supports this game cant be heard.
cough, cough, brigading
4 Replieswhy do you have to add the debbie downers part? can’t you just express your opinion without attacking others like a mature person?
-
4 RepliesMe too... oh wait you said CoO... I thought you were speaking about CoD. People still play Destiny? Why?
-
9 RepliesI speak as a day 1 veteran of Destiny's vaunted 3 year run. I've seen both the ups and downs of this series. I've played through every activity available and ground myself silly. I have cheered Bungie for its victories and cursed them for their follies. Now, having said this, I honestly find CoO to be meh in quality. It's a brief flash-in-the-pan piece of content used to grind for asthetic gear and baubles. Also, it's another part of the rat race to keep up your power level (and thus your credibility) and be eligible to engage in the latest "end game content". However, this is what I expected, and therefore I can't be disappointed. Hopefully the next dlc will include content truly worthy of being considered innovative.
-
Which is what shows that the game had an incentive problem. You're playing the game I have the whole time. Bungie just came up with incentives that spoke to you enough to motivate you to play.

1 ReplyIt's all just repaints and bland reworks. Woo hoo, you get 3 extra bullets in your clip. 1 new event, a story and half a raid to last through winter. LAAAAAME!. It's the skimpiest, least replay value DLC to date.
