Bungie fixes a mistake and addressed some issues. Bungie gets shit on by community before and after the announcement. I swear you kids are just bitching just to bitch now. Keep complaining about shit we need fixed and not about what is being fixed.

Has anyone thought maybe this was all planned to make it look like they are listening? To take away from the gross state of the game? BEFORE this paywall bullshit? So now they look like they are listening?

Just so everyone knows, they're blowing smoke up everyone's asses. Let's go back to D2 pre-launch, where they told us that they were already anticipating issues with the game and were creating fixes for them ahead of time. Now let's skip to the last couple months where everyone is not happy with all the things they removed that were apart of D1. Now fast forward to now, where they're adding some of those things back and giving us "new ways to acquire gear." Don't, for one second, think they are giving us this stuff because they feel bad or realize they been making mistakes. They had this content already planned for months, they're just telling us they're listening in hopes that we buy more of their crap. And all the lower IQ individuals will buy into the lies and keep supporting this crap developer [spoiler]I'm not the OP of this but it sums everything up[/spoiler]

It only took enough gamers to get pissed off besides all the other Hog Wash they been pulling that as if that wasn't enough. This company is so damn disconnected from there player base that it has to take enough gamers to get pissed off before they even think about doing anything. Seriously, how hard it is to show some respect to your player base that got you up to this point? I understand making mistakes, but this Hog Wash XP, paywall etc are not "mistakes" and there is no excuse no mater what Bungie says. 30 years in business and they still can't figure this out how to respect their player base???

One of the biggest complaints in d1 was old raids not being relevant. Now they are relevant people complain. Im so glad I don't work for Bungie. I couldn't imagine trying to satisfy this cesspool of entitled children. I don't think Ive ever seen whining and crying on the level this website breeds

In D1 the following DLC's had to be BOUGHT unless you upgraded your initial order of the D1 Launch: The Dark Below (now with Smell-O-Vision) House of Wolves Later DLC that had to be BOUGHT were: The Taken King (Emo-Land RULES) The Rise of Iron (Atari FTW) In between that we got holiday themed events, a couple of racing events, new content, and updated older content. With that said, UNLESS you had these DLC packages, you were locked out of a lot content. Some of it was later time released for free. Key word LATER. As in months later. Not 2 weeks later. Everyone who has whined and cried about a short campaign or locked content already are way too much into demanding that they get what THEY want because suddenly they're bored and don't know what else to do. I've taken my time to explore and wander around. Listen to the sounds, music, do missions, events, and really take it all in. Alas, I'm not you, you're not me. D1 ain't D2. D2 ain't D1. Y'all jumped on board and were Ok with our old loot gone. Then complain about the new loot because it ain't like D1 loot. That's because the D1 loot is gone! Y'all complain about meta weapons being meta, yet, offer no constructive ways or loadouts to counter the so called meta. Instead, Y'all whine and moan for things to be watered down so YOU can feel good about you and screw everyone else. And just so we're clear, now that CoO is pretty much open reign after 2 weeks, well most of it, Y'all just pissed away a Hell of a chance to offer ideas and developments to EXPAND on the DLC and just gave Bungie an out for not going any further with it! And quite honestly, UNLESS you've got something important or constructive to say, I can care less. I know what Destiny means to me. My children love the game and they choose my Guaridan. And they nickname them and their classes. They get excited when I talk to my friends online. And They all talk back and forth. I use the game to talk with them about Hawking, Einstein, Galileo, Copernicus, NASA, A.I., robotics, my own childhood. And what do y'all do? Speed run a DLC and demand money! I hope y'all find your reason to enjoy Destiny for what it really is. And I hope y'all find your Lost Light again... Mongo Out

No salt from me. Players, media critics, and potentially even retailers threw Bungie some serious, well deserved shade over CoO. Bungie responded and made an effort to correct their mistake. I was pleasantly surprised with yesterday’s update. I hope it’s a sign that Bungie will look a little harder at what they put out with the next expansion.

What I don’t understand is why they can’t make the enemy light level (power level, I know) automatically switch between different modes, 300/330 depending what expansions you have installed? Is it seriously that difficult to add a script in that tells the software which mode to use? That way everyone is happy, and the 330 power players don’t just walk through older lower level prestige stuff. Also, little side note, I don’t know if anyone else feels this way but I really want Tess Ever-ANNOYING-verse to shut the -blam!- up when you’re not at her shop! She has the most irritating lines I’ve ever heard! As if she isn’t a bad enough feature already you didn’t have to turn her full re tard. (For anyone who watches Skillup’s Laymen Gaming ;)

Gotta love all the idiotic fanboys that worship Bungie in this thread and blame the players affected by the changes. Not like they couldn't have put a 3rd option in to please everyone, but nope, had to cut base content and try to pass it off as something new. Lazy, Greedy, Incompetent devs at their finest.

Congrats Bungie community on complaining your way into further ruining the game. You’ve successfully managed to make the raid irrelevant and effectively bring about one of the most common complaints in D1, being that raids become irrelevant with each new DLC and light level increase. Nice one - now we can all enjoy the “participation trophy” raid. A more logical ask would have been to increase the power level for raids and allow everyone to reach that cap, DLC or not. If you didn’t buy the DLC then you don’t get the CoO content but can still play the raid at the new light level.

Lol ppl think they want a free dlc. I mean players should actually be rewarded with a free dlc with all the bs they put up lol but im tired of tryna have ppl understand. To those of you that dnt understand, still, just dnt buy the next dlc right away. Ull surely understand like my other friends did. They were stubborn just like you but then their eyes opened and they saw the bs and ended up not buying the dlc. Might not be another "mistake" though but you'll see. And lets not act like this was a mistake. Only reason they did this is cause all devs are on thin ice since the bs that happened on ea's star wars battlefront.

I don't mind spending money on cosmetics, it's the rng element that keeps me from doing it. I would spend probably an extra 10-20$ an expansion of I could buy individual items.
