Played D2 ALL WEEKEND and Had a Blast
Played so much my thumb hurts.
Did the raid lair twice. Leveled a new character from 296 to 332 with top weapons.
I cant say any of it was bad. Lots of it needs work and can and should be used for new game modes, etc. But i had fun and i was entertained and that's all that matters.

Yes, you can get a weekend of fun out of the game. Hell, probably more. Let us know how fun it is in two weeks. Let us know if you can out in a tenth of the time you put into D1. Nobody is saying they don't enjoy the game initially, we're saying that it's not supposed to be a "one and done" campaign/light cap and that's it. Unfortunately, with static weapons the main grind of the game and main point of playing it more than your average title is gone.

Yay? I guess? Look, i don't have anything against you and i think is great that someone is getting some enjoyment out of this game. But these posts have never made much sense to me. You had fun. I can have the same amount of fun doing something else. It doesn't discredit your activity, but it doesn't credit it as "evidence". Just because you enjoyed yourself doesn't just magically prove that this game is worth much to [i]me[/i]. Now before any D2 defenders toot their horns and chant the magic words: "If you don't like it, why are you here?" Let me just say that I definitively [i]don't[/i] like D2 and chances are I never will. But I do enjoy the [i]community[/i], which is a shocker. How could anyone like this place? I guess you could call it stubbornness. I've played Destiny since day 1 of the first game, so in a way I feel obligated to ride this pony out to its final days. In one way or another.

There's so much salt in this community that people up north are going to start using it's members to melt their snow. I had fun too. Heck, I always have fun, for the most part. D2 is by far and away much more enjoyable for me than D1 ever was. It actually brought me back to the Destiny franchise. Trust me, there's a laundry list of things wrong, but it's actually playable and accessible for me where D1 wasn't and I think they will continue to improve upon the game. So keep having fun. That's what it's all about. If you're not having fun, move on.

I've been playing about 3 times each week for an hour each day and I still find the content interesting and engaging. People complaining about no endgame? They just rushed through it so quickly, they didn't even notice. If you want to enjoy something, take your time and enjoy it don't rush through it. The fun is in the grind, not the after-grind where you have a full set of everything, max light, etc. If everybody just took their time, they would still be having fun.

I have fun in destiny 2 every time i play. Me and my friends raid near about every day, help do raid carries and sherpas too. We do nightfalls, suffer through crucible, we even beat the new raid lair this weekend! Destiny is a lot of fun for people who can find a decent group of people to have fun with. If you live under a rock and refuse to be sociable in an online video game, then you prolly wont have as much fun. Just saying.

4 RepliesI agree. Vanilla destiny 2 I found it hard to play. I really didnt want to log in. I can't explain it, but Ive played Destiny 2 more now with the new DLC than Vanilla. I still wish they would fix the 2 greens and a blue issue... Or even better just getting a green. If I go through a public event. It should be worth a little more than just comradery. I give this game an Honest 5/10. Have I played better games? Yes. Does the endgame suck? Yes. Do they need to add more Endgame for the hardcore? Yes. Do they need to be more transparent with Eververse? Yes. Do they need to remove PvP so they can focus on just PvE content? Yes. Do they need to add Raids that 20 or 30 people are needed to beat them? YES!!!!!.
