Please don't nerf Prometheus Lens!
Because i still haven't acquired it and it looks like one of the few TRUE exotic weapons that is fun to use!
Same goes for the Colony!
Edit; making Prometheus a power weapon is also an option!
Edit2; why does everyone think that there is only PVP in Destiny? I'm not talking about PvP. For PvP it is broken, everyone can see that, but they need to seperate it from PvE and leave it alone.

Almost as soon as he ran out of ammo on that Youtube video, he died. Could not hold his own using equal weapons. What is really sad, is that everybody wants one so they can do the same. Its just sad that you can't have fun unless you have some OP weapon that gives you kills. Notice here that I didn't say nerf it now. My comment was about the people that need to use that weapon, not about the weapon itself.

Expect a change to it in the next few days, or at least the announcement of when to expect it. And it won't be a nerf, it will be making it function as it was intended to. Consider this the Mythoclast of D2.

5 RepliesI just went against a team of 3 with it, they clearly had no game skill but still absolutely melted us. Basically it gives poor players an upper hand... I would have easily pulled a 2.0 kad based on their skill level, but instead wound up with a .83. Takes no skill and saw at least 1 in most every match. Make my hand cannon 2 tap and I will be fine with it. Otherwise it needs a nerf ASAP.

[/b] It should actually kill stuff while in my vault. I shouldn't even have to carry it on my character. Instead give shoulder charge two more needless nerfs. Then, shoulder charge and D1 fusion rifles can be in the same support group.

1 ReplyI'm all for empowering Exotics, but even I know this gun is broken. It has a faster TTK than SMGs at a range of a pulse rifle. This is in no way balanced. It's fun, but imagine Trials, or even just casual pvp, where everyone had this gun. It would no longer be fun.

3 RepliesI will tell you what will happen. For the first two months, it won't be touched. DLC will sell for this item alone. When the dlc hype has died down, it will be nerfed to the ground. Next dlc is out, you will see multiple op shit, it will stay op for a month or two, then nerfed and so on. They sell you $20 dlc's on items lmao. Now think for a sec. You get those op items, and then what? What content are you gonna be playing WITH those op items? You will stand in the tower and admire your new "op" shit not knowing what to do cuz there's literally nothing to do.

2 RepliesHere's an Idea. Bring back D1 time to kill, or close to it. A guardian should feel strong, be able to make plays and have fun in PvP. So many people actually are farming and looking forward to play with the Prometheus Lens because of this. People WANT better TTK. Bungie has made amazing games in the past with great pvp, now it's in such a sad and stale state.
