I really don't mind the timers. I enjoy them really. Does give a sense of challenge to get through tough enemies. The purpose of the timer is a DPS/skill check, more DPS than it is skill, but they go hand in hand. If you aren't able to deal the required amount of damage in 5-6 minutes, then your doing something wrong.
Timers are a go to challenge bar. If you wanna make something more challenging, put a timer on it is normally the first option to use. Its easy and effective. Its fine to complain about timers, but you need to provide alternate or better solutions.
How can new *DPS/Skill check* mechanics can be added to the game. Maybe employ some of the mechanics of the raids into heroic activities? Ya know like if you don't complete a certain objective quick enough, boom dead?
