That's right, the brilliant minds at Bungie decided to add more timed activities when QUITE LITERALLY NOBODY likes them.
How many more "remove the -blam!-ing timers!!!!" threads need to be made before they get the point? Jesus. This is incompetence at its finest.

Yip they couldn't come up with decent modifiers so they slapped a timer on everything.

11 RepliesNobody actually likes timers. Anyone who says they do and that they want them to keep timers, they’re just trying to be different and difficult.

Needs more bell

3 RepliesThe only timers in this game that made sense were the oracles (shoot them before they end you) or the mines in PoE ( get them before they explode). Legitimate reasons for a timed challenge. Not just “git gud lol”. Sounding like PUBG barbarians in here.
-
3 RepliesI hate the timers the way that they are. However, I think there is potential for them. Bungie should allow you to finish the strike regardless if you run out of time. If you finish within the time, you should get bonus loot for completing it quickly. Just a thought
-
2 RepliesInstead of counting down, why don’t the timers count UP instead? This could allow for a a certain time mark to be met for a slight increase of rewards, while also allowing the people who want to take their time to do so.
-
They know they made a bad decision and just doubled down again 😂

3 RepliesEdited by DeathPony07: 12/8/2017 6:04:23 AMI don't know who at Bungie thought up the modifiers and the timer, but they need their head examined. They ruined Heroic Adventures just like they ruined the nightfall. Nothing in this game is fun. It's all annoying to the point where I literally hate the -blam!-ing game. Getting one shot over and over, while the enemy hardly takes any damage. Let's nerf the best grenade in the game too, because it actually works. Genius. PvP is the reason this game is boring garbage, and the Crucibabies are still bitching about nerfs. Just remove it already. It's unbelievable that a franchise with such potential, is failing, because of incompetent devs. How do you possibly, after everything you learned, and after every great change you made to D1, make a sequel that is objectively worse in every way, compared to the previous game? I've never hated or been more disgusted with a game than I am with this dumpster fire.

Don't mind the timer but I would rather not have it.
-
I like timers. Adds challenge.
-
They're creating more and more reasons to stop playing all together lol. But let's be real. They don't care. If everyone stopped playing for a week and everyone stopped buying anything from the game, then we might get their true attention. But that won't happen. I hate timers. Just hate to rush. But that's just me.
-
I find a level of humor to them... it's like they want us to rush through the content faster than we already do. :D
-
36 RepliesCommunity: We don't want timers. Bungie: We're listening. Bungie: We're giving you more timers ... working as intended.
-
4 RepliesI love timers, it makes it a bit more exciting! However it should not end the activity and auto-fail. What is should do is reward the players who complete the activity within the timelimit with extra loot and/or specific loot that can only be rewarded from time activitys
-
Yeah, bungie make dumb people look intelligent. "Hey bungie this enemy killed everyone in one shot" "We got your back our community" (NERF EVERYTHING) "There you go, love bungie"
-
You mean the heroic adventures? The one that when the timerror expires, you start over? Oh wait. You don't.
-
1 ReplyBeggars can't be choosers. They don't smell right.
-
I haven't played the nightfall since the first because I thought the timer was something that would be occasional... guess not
-
2 RepliesThe timer doesn't fail the adventure if you run out. Also the modifiers on the first one makes your power weapon do tons of damage and there plenty of orange bar enemies to supplement consistent use.
-
everything should be on a timer tbh it would be so much more fun
-
Those timers are purely for extra loot you basically get the same loot if you don’t beat the timer almost like a heroic event but for the adventures
-
Some people like it, I don't care for it.
-
Oh boy a timer that makes the mission easier for you if you can't beat it within an expected amount of time it would take for one to beat it. Oh no and the easier version gives the same rewards? Man -blam!- bungie putting timers on all the good shit.

3 Replies*Adds timers to raid* Bungie:
Yeet
-
I like them. They just need to be shorter. At the moment they are meaning less.
-
6 RepliesHate timers. They're just unfun
