How badly is your Iron Banner grind going?
post here how many how many hours you've spent, how many packages you've opened and which -blam!-ing piece you're missing
19 hours, 29 packages, missing the chest piece
the limited nature of this activity compounded by lack of proper structure for pvp matchmaking makes this a dismal burn out of an event instead of a way to keep the player base engaged
*EDIT* final tally: 30 hours, 43 engrams and still no -blam!-ing chest piece

I quit all PVP activities in this game. D1 was much better and more fun. This is just an endless bore. Nice maps but boring.

Great. Not grinding at all. Aside from aesthetics, everything is crap again, so no point wasting time grinding for anything.

6 RepliesMine is going great. Haven't played all week. Did jump on D2 this morning to play some planet challenges with my buddy. Outside of that, not touched IB at all and it has been nice. Been playing SW BF2 instead and having fun with that game. Yes, the micro transaction BS is out there, but I have been having a ton more fun playing there than D2. IB aka Crucible with bad RNG problems is nothing and I don't miss it...

I don't know how many packages, but only had my Hunter helm to get after last months IB. Did it after 6 matches last Tue, now I'm done. Too painful to play this game right now. AC Origins is what I'm playing until the new content arrives on 5 Dec.

During the first IB I got a full set of Titan armor in 17 packages. 41 packages for my Hunter and I am still missing my helmet. RNG snapped hard on me this time.

2 RepliesI can't seem to get the chest piece for my warlock. Other then that it's not too bad. I enjoy being able to select Clash instead of that annoying random Quickplay.

2 RepliesPretty bad. I've open close to a hundred Packages and only recieved two pieces of Armour on two different characters. The Token system needs to go!

Edited by noxdg: 11/27/2017 5:13:52 AMI only grinded to rank 20 on PC to get the season one emblem, but here's the IB specific rewards I received for 20 ranks across 3 characters: 3 - arm pieces 2 - class items 3 - sidearms 1 - grenade launcher 1 - auto rifle 30 - shaders I only ranked up 20 times, and for 1/2 of the packages, I didn't receive IB specific gear or weapons. Though, I received IB shaders every time.

Gameplay is soooo much fun. (<---Joke) It is actually decent when it isn't a teamshot mida fest. As far as loot goes I got most of what I wanted.

Edited by GraciousEel761: 11/27/2017 1:37:19 AMI was missing the Legs and Mark for my Titan, and got the Legs day one package 2 I think. Still no Mark, but I believe I have all the other loot. I've only been opening 2 packages a day though, with 3 today. Its easy, 6 for the challenges, plus 15 for all three. Just need 19 more Tokens for a package. Just don't grind. They will add to the loot pool new items, but you can still get the old stuff in season 2.

Not bad at all seeing how I'm not wasting my time grinding out useless cosmetic gear. Gamers and their need for dress up will always be an easy way to get them to grind for useless shit.

Played it last round. Not worth playing for anything again. The gear is nothing special outside of asthetics. You can get a better recovery build using other gear. So, it's going great.
