If you could retrospectively give Destiny 2 a review score what would you score it out of 10?

3/10. From a new Destiny player's point of view: Boring story, terrible dialogue. Good graphics and mostly good performance. Good and bad game play. There is a huge lack of tutorials explaining different enemies, attacks and hazards. And I'm taking points off for not releasing Destiny 1 to PC first. Also, why do I need a clan to play Nightfall and Raids? I would rather play with randoms and not have to rely on members of my clan to be online. The power level system is way too confusing and there is no in game tutorial of how to get a higher base power level? The videos I've watched so far that explain how to get better loot it make it sound simple, but no video has ever explained how to increase your character's power level. What power level gear should I expect from my powerful gear engrams? None of this is explained anywhere. And another thing that has almost never been mentioned by anyone is the Crucible Milestones/Challenges. Remove them. Competitive players do not want some randoms playing competitive to complete their challenges. It's dumb. The same can be said for quick play. The final thing that really pisses me off about this game is the fact it's only multiplayer/coop. I prefer single player games wherever single player is available, but what the -blam!- is this? I just want to complete story missions and side quests, then I get bombarded with random players in the lobby? I don't even have the option to disable connecting to a public lobby. I'm sure other players want this option too. And what the hell is this with not being able to pause the game when you're alone? PvP is also terrible. You've got swords and ultimates that can insta kill, then you have sniper rifles and shotguns which take more than two shots to kill? It's not just that, the builds for the classes are not very well thought out. Because it means there is going to be repetitiveness. I see a lot of guardians picking classes where their grenades have an area of effect.

In fact after two weeks I sold my PS4 because it pissed me off so much. PC 6/10 On the other hand the PC version has been very good. It feels fresh, sharp and fun to play with my PC mates whom never played the original Destiny. However, since I played Destiny 1 I cannot overlook this is still the same game as the PS4 and many of the changes annoy me! [b]Graphics[/b] 10/10 - Very impressive [b]System performance[/b] 7/10 - There are a few optimisation issues Bungie needs to work through [b]Gameplay [/b] 8/10 - Combat feels really good [b]Sounds[/b] 10/10 - Again very impressive [b]Class changes[/b] 5/10 - They did very little to differentiate the classes and if anything dumbed the skill trees down [b]Exotic items [/b] 4/10 - TBH the current selection we have is pretty crap [b]Weapon system[/b] 5/10 - Meh i liked Destiny 1 style better [b]Campaign[/b] 6/10 - It was nice to have one! However, was very short and didn't really flow well into the end game content [b]Levelling process[/b] 4/10 - Levels 1-20 feel pointless, grinding light levels feels very restrictive i.e. World Events are way more efficient than Strikes etc [b]End game[/b] 3/10 - Once you hit 265 Strikes become pointless, once at 280 well options are even more limited. I think they spent too much time on graphics and forgot about what people can do after week 2. [b]Character customisation[/b] 5/10 - no change from Destiny 1 If we can get so more End Game activities, more reasons to play the Strikes and signifcantly more unique Exotic items I would easilly rate the game higher on both platforms.

Most would give a low review. Lets put it this way, some reviews gave them a 10/10 Game stop gave them a 9. Who's paying them off?

4 RepliesThe lethalviper that could One day lethalviper80 was getting ready for one of the most serious sporting events in the Troll kingdom - the fart sucking contest. It was a glorious competition that only the most vile, ugliest, little weinerest trolls could attend and lethalviper80 was the top contender. He had been the running champ for years, putting his lips around the rectums of various other trolls, people, animals and insects and sucking out that sweet sweet butt juice which trolls actually thrive on to help drive they're deluded mental process. Odds are if it's something that's existed, lethalviper80 has sucked the fart out of it. He stood waiting for the announcements of what creature the contenders would have to suck farts out of, looking smug for he new he could suck farts from the mightiest of beasts. But when the creature was finally revealed lethalviper80 gasped in terror! It was a woman! Lethalviper80 had never even touched or been touched by a woman, let alone needing to be brave enough to suck the fart out of one! He peed his pants and ran home crying. He couldn't face her. He had sucked farts from cows, frogs and stinkbugs.... but never a woman. He sat at home alone and ashamed, pleasuring himself to gifs of garbage trucks dumping trash. Then in the distance he heard a voice calling to him. It was the woman running up to him calling his name. She collapsed in front of him pleading for his help. Apparently she was a princess from a far away land and she had lost the ability to fart naturally. The gas had been building up inside of her for so long she feared she may explode at any moment and destroy her kingdom. She had heard lethalviper80 was the best fart sucker and came seeking his help. She didn't care how ugly he was or how small his wiener is, she had love for him in her heart and begged for his help. With the princess's entire kingdom in peril, lethalviper80 knew he had to help. He closed his eyes moving his lips towards the princess's rectum. "I think I can, I think I can" he repeatedly told himself until his lips finally connected with her. Then with all of his might he sucked. He sucked so hard. I mean this dude reeeeeaaallly sucked. Then when he thought he couldn't suck anymore she gusted into his mouth. The flavors of rotten eggs, moldy bread, sulfur and rancid cottage cheese dancing festively into his lungs! He kept sucking and sucking, so proud of himself. But then he sucked so hard that he sucked up all the love the princess had felt for him. The princess's love entered lethalviper80 and was instantly abolished by the super herpes that resided in him. Not loving lethalviper80 anymore, the princess pooped on his carpet, made fun of his little wiener and left. Lethalviper80 sat alone but was not upset about the events that transpired, for he had saved an entire kingdom and finally touched a woman!

5 Replies8.5/10 I usually base my moneys worth out of a game by how many meaningful hours I've put into it. If I can get 60 hours of meaningful gameplay out of a 60$ game for example, I would say I got my moneys worth. The core gameplay of D2 is very solid. Gunplay, especially. Everything feels smooth IMO. I have the unpopular opinion that I like trickled content for games. It makes it so I don't burn out of a game quickly, and I can find time to play others. Yes, I would say that a game really can have TOO MUCH content, and I prefer having time to get used to changes and follow a dynamic setting.

I would give it a 6.5 because it's missing two key things that can make it an 8 for me. -Public Chat -LFG Option for endgame content like raids.

Let's start at 10 and take a point away for each strike against the player base. Game did not include replacements for currently established systems of the previous games modes. i.e. Prison of elders, dreadnaught puzzles and secrets, secret exotics, heroic strikes, crucible game modes. -1 Simplified all of the games mechanics, random rolls, skill trees and removed much of the depth and RPG elements -1 Very poorly written dialog at times, often flat and one dimensional characters with poor motivations. -1 Ghost -1 Did not improve on character creation. Nonew faces, hairs, colors, nothing. Lazy. -1 Armor and Weapons and skill trees have been Homogenized . -1 The consumable shader system - 1 In Short, this game improved on nothing that made the original game good and instead went backward. 3/10 Whoever decided that Amanda Holiday should shout "Bingo" and came up with "CPU network" should never work in the industry again.

I don't feel that numerical scores give proper justice when determining a game's quality. In spite of that, my opinion of Destiny 2 is that it's the video game equivalent of eating Cheetos: not very much substance, but nonetheless tasty.
