before its release I was happy to pay 80 pound for the game and DLC thinking this would be the only game i buy until newyear. boy was i wrong i was ahardcore d1 player and last week bought assassins creed origins and haven't looked back since what a game!
I am so disappointed I wasted the money thinking this was going to take off where d1 ended...
Anyone else feel disappointed? will you go back to try the dlc?
or have you given up completely?

4 RepliesI regret only buying the standard version , I listened to the noise in these forums before buying it on PC. I shouldn't of listened to the haters as I think its a great game. I'll deffo be buying all the dlc . Good day :)

Possibly maybe, certainly sounds like HoW all over again.

I didn't buy the DLC. After the beta I decided to hedge my bet. Winning!

1 ReplyNot really. I played D2 for a solid 5 or 6 weeks before getting bored of it. That's not horrible. It's not like D1 where I played all the time for the first year. I actually consider it a good thing I didn't get super addicted like i did D1 :) To me D2 wasn't a lot different than TTK and ROI. With those DLC's I played them for about 4 to 6 weeks got bored, and moved onto something else (I did come back from the odd Iron Banner or Sparrow Racing event). The only period of time I put in serious hours into destiny for a prolonged period was year 1. So my issues with destiny are different than everyone else's. My most addictive time with destiny 1 was when it had the most faults. The more they nerfed weapons, improved rng, or made the switch to light level, the less I needed to play the game. D2 actually feels like an evolution down that path. You don't need to grind for weapons because the RNG is ok, and they're aren't really to many hard to get OP weapons. There's only a few milestones every week to do that increase your power level. It feels like Y2/Y2 of D1 and D2 was an evolution of removing grinding. I doubt I'll ever enjoy (or loathe) destiny as much as I did in y1. There's been no replacement for grinding multiple raids and 3 nightfalls every week for every months, and then seeing the Gjallahorn finally drop... lol.

Im regretting not buying them with the game on PC as i did on console. The game looks and plays amazing on pc. Its almost like the game was made for it and not on consoles. I can only hope that loading times for a example will become the same on the new xbox console and future ps4 console. Because its so fast on pc. I like it alot.

Nope. Played 155+ hours had some fun, and all ready looking forward to more December 5th. Then again I don't expect a $90 (60 base + 30 pass) game to occupy my every free gamming minute for 2 months so there is that. At just the $60 base game I have got $0.39 / hour of entertainment. No medium besides books has that value. #math

1 ReplyEdited by DemonOrigami: 11/2/2017 7:48:18 PMGood news is that you won't need to pay for it again. Bad news is the Fallen will continue to claw at the walls of our city unless we strike them down. Beneath the ruins of the Cosmodrome, in the shadow of an old colony ship, we've located the House of Devils' lair, and the High Servitor, feeding them their strength. We must destroy this machine god, and send their souls screaming back to Hell.

Nope, no ragrets yo

It’s not even out yet ffs 😂 You trolls and 12 year old bitches are getting boring with your constant complaining 😎

I'm sure I will get voted down too because I've been having a ton of fun and I'm glad I got the expansion pass and looking forward to playing the next DLC. I'm also glad I'm playing on PC because the console version looks super broken and even though the sandbox is supposed to be the same the movement, skills, guns etc just feel better on PC even if you play using a controller.
-
Maybe. Don't know yet.
-
Not at all. Looking forward to them all. Whats wrong with playing another game in between? You guys sound like whiney 5 year olds.

9 RepliesI understand your point of view. But for myself, I haven't been disappointed. This is the same Destiny universe. Lore wise there's some strings missing but I can look past that. I'm excited for the new expansion. 👌

16 RepliesI’m really not understanding all the negativity towards destiny 2. For me it’s kept it’s same formula from destiny and improved upon it. Patrols is so much better than before PvP is massively improved Nightfalls are finally fun Raid is fun and challenging As for DLC I sort of bundle that in as what the game costs, it’s around £100 a year game. I honestly am looking forward to the new DLC, and continuation of the destiny loop that I enjoy.
