before its release I was happy to pay 80 pound for the game and DLC thinking this would be the only game i buy until newyear. boy was i wrong i was ahardcore d1 player and last week bought assassins creed origins and haven't looked back since what a game!
I am so disappointed I wasted the money thinking this was going to take off where d1 ended...
Anyone else feel disappointed? will you go back to try the dlc?
or have you given up completely?
-
I'll tell you once the Expansion gets released.
-
Seriously it's money already spent just deal with it , you got the DLCs so why not just wait until they are actually out before you make you your mind
-
I didn't buy it with the game, so I could see if I liked the game before getting the passes. I now have two copies of the game (PS4 and PC), and have two passes. :)
-
I'd rather wait till the DLC CoO drop before I make a firm statement. I want to see the direction where Bungie takes. There is going to be improvements but I ask why can't they do that BEFORE the DLC drops? If not much changes, I will finish the campaign and drop it then and there...I won't even care about the 2nd DLC. Bungie may have taken my money but they will not take anymore of my time!
-
Nope.
-
I regret buying d1
-
Yes :(

24 RepliesD2 is far from perfect but it's still worth what I paid. I've leveled 4 characters to endgame and still played more than any other game not named Destiny I've bought the past 4 years. I'm excited for the DLC because it's more content and more to do. Don't know that it will keep groups of friends playing because the 4v4 Crucible has decimated our old groups but the game will get better and needs to.
-
Yes, lesson learned.. well and truly shafted.
-
I don't regret it, but it taught me a valuable lesson.
-
I do. I thought I knew what destiny was ND couldn't imagine that destiny 2 would be something completely different than d1
-
1 ReplyYou want a bad season pass deal you should look up evolves idea of season pass lol
-
Well i never bought the season pass, so im not in the same camp as you. Figured it would be good to wait until i saw gameplay first. Im excited for it though.
-
Mine came with it.

I play to help my friend remain in the top 10 for trials wins on Xbox. Totally lost hope that bungie has an ounce of moral fibre anymore. Game will forever be more then unfinished and boring but always unbalanced and held back by deadlines and activision being the cancerous growth on triple A games

1 ReplyNo, not really, I kind of expected this. That being said, would I do it again? I don't know, probably not. If I had known I would be grinding Nessus TWO MONTHS after release just for one -blam!-ing chest piece, I wouldn't have done it.
Cozmo, Bungie, anyone please. If you're reading this, just give me that Expdus Down chest piece for the Titan class. I don't want to look st Nessus anymore, I used to love that place, now I'd be more than happy for the World Eater to eat it.
2 RepliesYeah I’m disappointed. D2 is like one step forward then they took like three leaps back. TBH they should’ve just made more D1 expansions.
-
Yes. Season pass lesson learned the hard way.
-
-
Bought the base game only and so glad I didn't buy the DLC. D2 is dead to me.
-
I dont
-
1 ReplyThat was my excuse for telling my wife that I was gonna buy the game, "I won't need to buy another game this year." Couple weeks later Fallout 4 becomes my most played game after like 10 play throughs.

1 ReplyEdited by DamZe: 11/3/2017 6:04:48 PMI cannot for the life of me understand why they on PC didn't allow for universal chat, so people could easily find others to do Nightfalls/Raids with. This game was advertised as being team play oriented, yet communicating with others is frustratingly tedious. Clans don't help, there is no ingame clan chat channel, and the companion app/online clan page is garbage. If they don't implement needed QoL changes then the DLC will be for naught.
-
Not yet because we've yet to get a dlc.....
-
4 RepliesIf the rumors of VOG be me the new raid content are true then I will not be playing content I already paid for in another game that was resold to us. D2 has been my most regrettable gaming purchase, and I’ve bought some disappointing games but none more disappointing than this.
-
At the end of the day, no. I'm sure I'll get enough enjoyment out of both DLC's to warrant the purchase. Despite D2's faults and my gripes with the game I still got a lot of great playtime out of it and a lot of great playtime with my friends. I'm sure the same will be said with the DLC's.
